i had the same problem in my 2008 dodge grand caravan sxt my dealer fixed it and good as new no need to bash the minivan if youre so clueless to what you are doing,it's just a simple rear bumper strip it's that hard to replace it has a high strength glue on it. so its not that hard to fix

Actually, it was only Chrysler and GM that had to get bail outs, Ford was smarter, and they do build better cars than Chrysler or GM. they are at least comparable in every way to the Foreign vehicles, some are even better than their Foreign rivals.

And a decent vehicle is in the eyes of a beholder, as I think most of Ford's current line up are decent cars, if not good cars. So its not me that has been misinformed, but in fact, YOU.
And then there's the issue of interior quality on that age of van, which I would say is poor, plenty of hard plastics, and uncomfortable seats, which the 2011 models did vastly improve.

If you test fords, then please tell me why the 2010 fusion had a transmission go out at 7,000mi ? And then there was a hudge wait because there were no parts available, and then the a/c compressor had to be replaced and then the brakes at 32,000 at a cost of 500,00 for front only. This does not sound like quality to me. Then there is the escape which is on it's second transmission now !
@SuperiorChrysler8 - That would be because not every car coming off the line is perfect, and as I recall the Fusion and Escape share the same transmission, which was on the kind of weak side. The a/c compressor I wouldn't complain to Ford about, as something like that is usually a sourced part. Also depending on the driving you do will depend on how long it takes you to wear out your brakes. Plus these are two cars due for replacement very shortly. (also its huge, not hudge)

Toyota isn't destroying ANYONE: GM is still at the top of the sales charts in the US, and on a worldwide scale, it's pretty close between the two. If you bothered to look it up, you would also see that MPG figures aren't far off as well, with GM or Ford sometimes in the lead, too... As for why they're going bankrupt, you need to research issues like legacy costs and health care.
Again, don't cover them all with one broad stroke because of ONE video showing a problem with a CHRYSLER product.
