Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville

The Aquarium Restaurant is reopening March 29th, 2012

after 3 years off rebuilding and with new sea life, and new staff.

they are both owned by the same company, there was also a rainforest cafe in Opry Mills, before the flood destoryed the mall. There almost done rebuilding, and I loved Mall of America, Opry Land should have a theme park again like Nickelodean Universe in Mall of America.

SO what kind food do they serve. DO you get to select your meal from the aquarium?

@crewlj it was extremly over priced cheap seafood, 19.99 for a plate. 29.99 for a big plate. It was the experience of the aqurium. The Waiter (I waited tables there) would tell you all about the fish, the yellow tang, the striped tang, the green eel, the baby eel, the white tip reef sharks, the black tip reef sharks, the sting rays, the big grouper, and more. It's very tranquil and I loved going to work there. Sadly it flooded and all the sea life died 2 years ago. they might rebuild.

This is true, The Opry Mills mall was flooded by the Cumberland river during the horrible storms on May 1 & 2 and as of Wednesday, May 5 the water has not subsided enough for clean up to begin at the Mall. According the local News, there has been a huge loss of life for the Aquarium, due to the flood waters.

I went earlier tonight and had a great time. We had our kids with us and they were amazed. Such a great place to dine. Many new inhabitants of the aquarium since this video was taken I can tell...to include a 6 foot Guitarfish. Fitting for Nashville!

Just went for dinner earlier tonight. The meal was great and prices were comparable to Red Lobster. There seems to be many additions to the aquarium, most especially a 5 or 6 foot Guitarfish. Fitting for Nashville! Great Restaurant for kids. A+

The prices ARE NOT terribly high. You can find affordable dishes, and they are surprisingly good for a theme restaurant. Going there tonight and I am happy about it~!

the prices were fine. i was there tonight. average prices for seafood. i had scampi, which came with linguini noodles and mixed vegies. my food was 18.00, and tasted great. if you are used to red lobster, and a little more higher end places than Mc D's, then this place was fine. plus, you are paying for a UNIQUE pace to eat, and not just fast food.

I used to work there up till last August. The prices are outrageous and the food sucks. The sting ray petting thing is kinda cool though.

It is an interesting thing to look at but the time I went the food was utter crap. I was REALLY bland and tasteless. You get better food at Red Lobster. I hated the food so much I intend to never go again to eat.
