Your answer is typically ambiguous - just like the Taiji classics! Well played sir. You surly have excellent Taijiquan skills. I'm not convinced by your explanation of the wider radius etc as I'm sure the masters I mentioned earlier passed down the 45 degree angle in the footwork for good reason. Having said that, your students movement looks great (especially woman in all black) and I wish you all the best. Thanks for your answers to my questions. I will continue my research. Salutes.
I like this. Well done to the teacher and all the students here. I notice that when you go from single whip to raise hands with empty step the left foot remains pointing forward with no 45 degree turn resulting in an right empty step with left foot at 90 degrees relative to the right @ 2:42. Then from shoulder stroke to white crane the right foot remains forward again with no 45 degree turn. My question is why do you perform empty stance with the back foot at 90 degrees instead of 45? Thanks :-)
@mnpli Interesting. Thanks. I notice that the two sons of Yang Cheng fu (Yang Zhen Ming and Yang Zhen duo) both passed down the instruction that empty stance should be performed with a 45 degree turn in the rooted foot. I also notice that Ip Man the famous wing chun grandmaster and Sha guo Zheng the Famous bagua and Xing yi master as well as Sun Lu Tang all passed down the same instruction to their lineage disciples. Do you think it's possible you could be making a mistake with your foot work?
@jasma98 To tell the truth, I try not to assume that 'I'm right about most things, tcc, included, (safer that way) also i try not to assume that a movement done in a form setting, is done the same way, when done in a free style setting...This is not say, that one group is right and the other wrong. In form, the reason FOR, may be many, IN choosing to do things differently.
Good form ladies! Typical CMC 37 steps. Tuck in your chin, pull in your pelvis (don't jutt the butt), drop more of your elbows & shoulder, differentiate more on the fwd stance between substantial & insubstantial (empty & full), maintain yr height, use yr waist to guide yr upper torso & keep them upright - you can do it much better. Keep the flow smooth - no commas, no periods, no frames. Good luck in your training for better health in the name of TCQ.
Ascolt, ascolta, non sai che cosa è????Maaaaaaaaa Mr Giuliano devi andare a scuela per imparare questa cosa che lo sanno anche il bambino di tre anni!!!!!,:o))))

@jasma98 a wider radius gives one a better stable stance, as well as it works on, stretching opening, more fully the hip joint
