Apparently, in PoR's developement there was supposed to be an in game fight scene between Greil and the Black Knight, like the one between Ranulf and the Black Knight.

During said scene Greil almost falls and ends up trying to use Aether... but can only manage the first strike of the two strike attack and has a spasmodic pain as he falters and is struck down. The Black Knight is like "What? No follow through? What's become of my teacher?"

Of course this was replaces by the cinematic.

This video was well cut. I enjoyed the parts where a match ended from two spaces away and then went directly into Greil pulling an Aether, so it looked like he broke the game and crossed the length in a single bound.

But I have to ask, is there some story-centred reason you never used the Urvan? It seemed to me that in some cases (like against Bastian) it would have done better.

No, Aether takes 2 separate attacks for Greil - he does Sol for the first hit, Luna for the second while Ike does it together

Good lord, that was a slaughterfest. Berserk Ashnard was deadly, but there were people who at least got close to killing him in single combat (Ike, Mist, Neph). Berserk Greil absolutely destroyed everyone, and he was able to recover any damage he took thanks to Aether.

Thank you very much Goldie :) I always wanted to know the true power of berserk Greil. He only confirmed he truly was the greatest swordsman in all Tellius! And I have a request I really wanted to see. It is this Greil fighting the unleashed Vanguard Ike. That way we could see if Ike really reached his father's level, like Zelgius told he did. My suggestion to do this is to put two Vanguard Ikes fighting, and one of them with these Greil stats and Urvan. Also, both with ether.
