I finished my konad white but dang its expensive to replace. Sally Hansen insta-dry polish stamps very well. Try whirlwind white. It's just slightly less opaque than the konad, but it's the best drugstore white I've found for stamping. HTH. :)

the generic plates on amazon can SUCK. Among the ones I purchased, they either  weren't lazer sketched correctly or were child sized! And those didn't fit me even though I gots tiny hands.

i just bought my konad nail art kit and my isn't working i keep trying over and over but for some reason once i add the special nail polish on to the plate and then use the scraper and use the stamper my stamper won't pick up the image on the plate.. i bought my little kit at the mall...

You probably found a solution but I found a way to make the konad special paint stick to the stamper.

All you have to do is take a nail filler and file the stamper on the nail filer 2-3 times and then,the paint will stick  a lot better :) hope it helps !

I also found out a way to not get the image to smear when putting a top coat on. The Konad videos say to dip your hands in cold water & dry them before adding the top coat. I guess it cools it down enough to not smear. :)

I just bought these and it really is making me mad. Ive used my friends before and it worked really well. but i got it and it wont transfer to my nails. it wont even pick up on the plate. i bought the special nail polish, but it looks different then that. i dont know what im doingg wronggg.

I'm guilty of just buying the plates too because I really didn't want to spend $7 on a polish so I found L.A. Colors at a Dollar Tree. I picked one up cause I really liked the color so I tested it on one of my plates and it transferred really well. I was wondering if anyone else tried this brand??

@trinnysue ive tried la colors, it's decent. but really, if you just leave your polish open to thicken, it'll be the consistency of what you need.

The Konad nail polish are specially designed for the stamps. It's a very thick formula.

All the konad special polishes are, are elmers glue with coloring. Mix elmers glue wtih the nail polish color you want to stamp with a whala!

Good Vid. You can use regular polish if you slightly rough up the surface of the stamper. Use a 180 grit file and just scuff it up enough to pick up regular polish stamps. Just keep trying it until it works best for you. I found I had to scuff it up pretty good before it picked up. But this way you can use regular polishes. I do recommend using highly pigmented polishes as these will show up best as the stamp.

just wait about an hour before you put on the top coat. (Base coat, then whatever color u want, then top coat, let dry, konad pattern, let dry for like an hour bcuz its not always as dry as it seems, then finally put on your top coat.)

if you take the stamp and rub it on a nail file a couple times it'll make the stamp pick up any kind of nail polish you use and if you don't want to do that try using the deco art nail polish its thick like the special polish from the company

Hello, I bought my Konad kit before the summer started and loved using it. I stopped using for a few week and the last two time I tried using it, the stamper just hasn't been the same. It no longer picks up the entire image or even close. Could the stamper possible be dried out? I haven't had it that long. Has anyone had this issue or know what I can do? I have that Konad stuff, it really works and you need to use the Konad Nail Polish for the design or it doesn't work. It's really cool. Also, You can also use Sally Hansen: Quick Dry or whatever it's called.
