Rorty, it is aimed at the guest on this particular show. She is an anchor on CNN who seems to never get her facts right. CNN reported that tons of yellowcake uranium were shipped from Iraq, but then said no weapons of mass distruction were found. In fact live chemical weapons have been continuously been found all over Iraq in small amounts. Sure they were possibly overlooked during the first gulf war, but she should go back and check their own stories...that's all.
CNN is very good at getting a story wrong. I remember all through the Clinton Administration they blamed Bush Sr. for not finishing the job, but when his son did finish it, oh how they complain. This anchor needs to read CNN's own report about yellowcake uranium flown to Canada from Iraq. Remember, we had a cease fire and Iraq failed to comply. Remember, Saddam was shooting at our aircraft also. That alone was reason to take out Saddam. Maybe CNN would prefer he was still in power.
@Rorty00 I see no difference between MSNBC or CNN or ABC, or NBC. They all have a liberal agenda and they all repeat each democrat talking point that is passed to them by the democrat party. Very few people believe these news orginizations anymore because each repeat the same lies. For instance, "Global Warming" is now a proven lie. Al Gore said the oceans would swallow up miles of shoreline, then he buys a big house next to the ocean...who believes these idiots anymore?
@temporaldisplacement yes he finished the war in Iraq. They now have their own country with a constitution. We are still there in a supporting role. The Afgan war continues though, and as Bush said, will last way beyond his administration. Bush never bowed, or apologised to anyone and rightly so.
@jismjacket Canada recieved 500 tons of yellowcake from Iraq during the Iraq war. This was reported by CNN, MSNBC and many other outlets. to see the reports just type in "500 tons of yellowcake uranium" and that should take you to the story.
