Better than my S3, as soon as the turbo kicks in on the s3 all 4 wheels spin and I go backwards, I had a mk4 R32 and due to it being very torquey from very low rpm you can leave it in a high gear without worrying about a sudden release of all the power in 1 go! As long as the bumper clears the snow and you fit decent tyres you will be fine. Worth saying she will go through deep snow using the bumper as a snowplough but dont!! its only plastic and very expensive!!

gotta luv the volkswagen's hatch models! really fun cars to drive and are really powerful and amazing for what they are! small can be powerful! i got a vw rabbit 2.5, fully loaded, great on gas, great power, amazing for having fun, and are really convenient cars to own! rabbits are cheap, and are really powerful for a 2.5L engine! :D

Now this is drifting on snow! Its the best to drift with that little bit of snow cause its the most slippery and its not tall enough to get everywhere. I've seen other videos where they try and drift with like 2-3ft of snow.....FAIL!, This is thumbs up!!!

Nice vid, finally an amateur driver on youtube who actually has a bit of driving talent and knows his and the cars limits.

I'm looking into buying a MK5 R32 with DSG, how do you find it as a day to day car? Only thing that worries me is the ride, Is the suspension too firm or do you get comfort and sport? I currently have a Pug 2.0 GTI 180 and the sports suspension with low pro tyres on 17" ally wheels means you feal EVERY bump :(
