Its hysterical how deeply american denial is engrained. Everything is the someone elses fault, they are misunderstood , Presidents have real decision making power, etc etc etc
Hey phony (or at the least, inconsistent Real News) why the "imperative" of preventing the phony bogyman of a nuclear Iran, while not daring to say a word about the need to eliminate Israel's 300 nukes? Why bring on an old Ronnie Raygun flunky like Korb? What's your real agenda, Real News?
Isn't wanting to learn half the battle? How about you lose the elitist attitude and the judgmental mindset. I asked an earnest question, you could have answered it or contributed nothing.
Do you know anything about my searches before I asked the question?
Gurnsi you keep going on everywhere about how smart you are. And you're a scientist huh? Hmm my brother is an MD PhD and between medical practice and his research practice must say he doesn't have time to spend hundreds of hours making the same idiotic comments on youtube. No wonder there aren't too many independent news sources. Crazies like this guy make it seem radical.
GurnSi one day I hope you find peace. You are attacking people you do not know on what basis? If it makes you feel better you must not get much compliments.
I'm sure if USA gets out of the face of other nations Americans would not catch so much heat. Scale back American navy, bring home American troops. Instead of cutting military spending they approved $608 billion budget. No 1 can threaten the USA. The USA is currently the greatest threat to world Stability.

Well i think what all news channels "claim" to do is bring you the objective reporting. However, that isn't usually achieved, and i think this is pretty obvious in the united states media when you consider all the things that aren't mentioned in newspapers and television. If you look further into per Noam Chomsky's "manufacturing consent", etc... You'll find some pretty well substantiated theory as to why that is. In fact these things are pretty well accepted by all parties.
This news channel is different than most televised and printed media in that it is not funded by corporate or government agencies. This theoretically would eliminate the pressure that those entities could apply through the threat of fund withdrawal.
In 1945-1948, the US-UK Military-Industrial Complex, fearing massive loss of business as a result of the end of WWII, amassed its war left-over materiel in Palestine, transported, armed, trained, and unleashed a bunch of East-European followers of a Nazi-style fenatic sect (Zionists) on the natives to conduct barbaric ethnic cleansing and slaughter. Israel, the last remaining European colony will soon join its ideaological cohort, Apartheid South Africa, in the trash bin of history.
Standing armies foment belligerence - and the bigger the army, the bigger the belligerence.
The US spends more on military expenditures that the reast of the world, combined.
Then, all the political machinery has to do is create conditions or manufacture intelligence to justify military action - in pursuit of profits for the defense industry.
What a sweet racket, no business like war, eh?
Welcome to American democracy, the new and improved version.
That's right, pull the Mil Indus Complex back into alignment with the core guiding principles of your government, otherwise it'll pull your government into alignment with its own agendas.

Altogether, the worlds markets over the past four weeks saw $11 trillion worth of assets wiped out. This sum corresponds to virtually the entire annual gross national product of the US, or the European Union
There has been a well funded smear campaign alleging that, if you have the nerve ,research it for yourself. I would rather encourage you to be open minded about the possibility that you have been lied to . I see no upside to knee jerk name calling .Peace
soon the american sheople will come to realize this dream they have been living will crumble into dust.. when that happens i will personally be happy.. the american government has plundered so many countries and killed so many innocent people all for their imperialistic agenda.. down with Israel and amerika.. unfortunately their blind and deaf citizens will suffer the consequence.
"i will personally be happy i will personally be happy"
If your happiness is dependent on other peoples suffering --regardless of their past mistakes (i.e. voting for bush)-- then maybe you have some issues that need sorting yourself.
Those foreign policies were largely based around self-interests instead of shared interests, hence the obvious imbalances that have resulted. When these policies shift in preference to shared interests and the well being of all of humanity, then you know America is beginning to fulfill its role as a real world leader. It's gonna be interesting to see if or how that plays out.
It seems to me that there is a major misconception globally that All Americans want what our Gov't does. I am sure there is little that can be done to change this perception ultimately. I can no more influence what my Gov't does than I can any other Gov't of the world. Even if there were major demonstrations against Gov't behavior it is unlikely that popular desire would change things in the end, or is it?
Even if there were major demonstrations against Gov't behavior >>>>
yes you are right.. and the fact the MSM does not cover the wars like they did in vietnam is a big problem.. the crash of the economy will distract everyone from the important issue, like a world war 3.. amerika is falling and is bringing down many more countries. those responsible should pay a high price.
As in all Physic's the largest object has the most PULL on those around it (ie Gravity). There have been so many poor choices and actions made by the US. Unfortunately I think there is still momentum from the previous administration that will take some time to begin to slow.
Theres a huge voting bloc in the US that regards the military as a holy institution and soldiers as saints - its impossible to dismantle their absurd military without a power shift within the US ruling class and a major propaganda effort.
use the military for stimlus for local housing fixing bases... the american people are already bankrupt and job less now you want to take the only open market for them away... the housing core well the americans don't know just how much like bush is like.. he is trying to open up bills which will allow the american people to be imprisoned and enslaved under fema but you don't hear them tlking about that
Not really, but it is cryptic, or at least ambiguous.
It is a little metaphorical:
Nothing really changes until something drastic happens.
It is at the end of a logical chain:
If most people's policy is that it is better that someone else suffer, then eventually it will come down to it is better that "I survive", and that means someone else does not.
And it is a slight allusion to the old maxim: "The more things change the more they stay the same", only it is a rejection of the sentiment.
Gotcha. I agree that something drastic has to happen, but not that it necessarily has to be death. Revolt, sabotage, refuse to obey, live outside the system, but do something!
I would say that the drastic change comes when the collective ego takes a back seat in light of the fact that it can't lead because it's fundamentally concerned with self interests and only makes decisions based around those interests (which lead to things like messing up our living environment in pursuit of more money and more power)

I think that we all agree that 'something' needs to be done. But so far, no on has proposed anything that would last, or even get off the ground. One thing is certain, things WILL CHANGE. But we have little idea what that entails.
Some say the fundamental nature of the universe is change. Much of which is outside our control. However, we have a small spheres of influence and small changes can have "ripple effects." We can also organize to create an even greater impact. Change cannot be undone, but can change once again. So, we must be vigilant about pursuing the change that we want. I think we will not see the change we desire, if we wait for someone to propose it.

Fed debt per person: $58K
Un-funded Medicare/Medicaid per person: $332K
Fed's plundered trusts per person: $30K
Un-funded SS: $166K
Every American owes: $586K for FED debt
Gov grows 4 Xs faster than economy
Fed spending grows 16 times faster than economy, (16 fold expansion in control & gov dependence)
The US gov now holds 57% share of entire National Income = Government makes more than all the money made in private sector!
How long does the USA honestly think it will last?

And if I justify this and say "it's for the good of the employees...", What I really mean is "someone else will suffer before me"
