Very poor enunciation and rhythm and phrasing. What is he actually trying to communicate. NOISE? How did this actor of an actor get to be rich and famous? By travesty of acting?
Never found this guy funny. He reminds me of some clown at school who wanted everyone to like him. I think his performances in films such as The Awakenings were epic though. Just never found him funny.
Esse cara que fique bem longe do Brasil, vagabundo ofendeu toda uma nação, não conheçe 1% e falou besteiras sobre nós! péssimo ator, cara pavoroso, metido a engraçadinho!!! filho da puta!!
Good interview but Williams is consistently annoying as an interview subject because he is always "on" and needing to change into voices and crack jokes instead of just answer questions.
@fumetti i agree, i prefer incredibly serious interviews where no jokes are told and i dont grin or laugh or move at all. this interview was just too interesting for me, im moving on.
@nashnwo1234 I have met others who thinks a little of him goes a long way. It is a case of enough already...he ceases to be a good interview when he constantly finds the need to perform instead of answer questions.
why are there so many negative comments on the actors that come on this show?? if you dont appreciate them, maybe you are jelous that they are achieveing and earning more than you would... why dont you just carry on with your mediocre life and stop dissing people that have offered more to this world then you ever will!
disorder. I have heard rumours about this loads of times, so I seached the net & it turns out he has Dyslexia, but he doesn't have any kind of mental illness. Sorry about that folks, but I have to stand up for my favourite actor, don't I? ;-)
Thanks for correcting me on that, that is something i've heard for the first time. I never knew it was a mood disorder before. But I still don't think that RW has that, because it has never been reported by him or the press.
sorry french but robin williams is more of a good actor, eg jumunji mrs doubtfire he isnt the best comedian he is 'kinda' funny if you like his style.

I love robin williams (he was amazing in What Dreams May Come and Good Morning Vietnam), but sometimes I wish he'd clam down and be serious for more than 30 seconds... not that I don't like his comedy bits (I do), but it seems like he has trouble being serious for a long time.
I don't think that's a problem with being a comedian per se. It's just that Williams seems to be *very* hyperactive and unable to be serious for very long when he does interviews. In contrast, Jerry Seinfeld is able to remain calm/still and be serious when he needs to. No disrespect meant to Robin williams though - I love him!
that's exactly why i looked at his vid. i wanted to see if he could talk seriously without breaking into a bit, and obviously he can't. the vid is 1:35 in length, he did 4 bits.
good timing - I just watched Good Will Hunting the other day. GREAT movie! And you're right about his performance. But I was talking about Robin Williams in interviews when he is being *himself*
He has clinical manic-depression also known as Bi-polar disorder. Many amazing performers, scientists, mathematicians, musicians, etc. have this brain disease.

What a bunch of losers. First, you need IQ to understand jokes and the will to live. I'm sorry for all of you, sad clowns

I never saw Robin Williams so subdued. Trying to do a serious interview with him must be like trying to capture lightning in a bottle .

Robin Williams does NOT have bipolar
disorder. I have heard rumours about this loads of times, so I seached the net & it turns out he has Dyslexia, but he doesn't have any kind of mental illness. Sorry about that folks, but I have to stand up for my favourite actor, don't I? ;-)

uhm..excuuuse me, but bipolar is not a "mental" disorder, it's called a mood disorder.

Robin is a great actor, a bit underrated for his goofy roles. But he's remarkable.

I have the same disorder. I have a quick wit and get along with people because of it. Robin is the best of us.
RodgersRevolution 2 years ago
I have the same disorder and I don't have a quick with, and don't get along with people very easily.
I have the intelligent, musician part of it..
but shit, sometimes I would trade it to not feel like this. It's tough and why most people with this condition self-medicate.
