I suicided one of the turret rooms once, I wedged a cube unto a door like that, and SOMEHOW killed myself by ducking behind the cube to hide from a turret, next thing I know, cube disappears, I die, I see the turret go flying and the door starts to close, all in like 1/100 of a second

@minernoob90 Oof, nice one. I hadn't considered that that's why the game knows to produce a new one when it does, I should try to manipulate it in more locations to see if I can get it both with and without being shot into the field or something.

@TundraBlitz Because my old laptop was shit and it was (and still is) surprisingly difficult to find a good screen capture software with a smooth framerate which will properly allow your computer's speakers to be heard.

I tried and wanted to, believe me. Especially since I check all my comments and I always hear the same beginning part of songs I'm somewhat tired of hearing now.

well, i just got the cube thru the door in chamber 00, glados doesnt do anything ive been trapped for a half hour ._.

DeChekah's comment explains that. In your case, it seems that the cube went through the door, but disintegrate in the grid, leaving you with an irretrievable cube on the other side of the door, and an unfinishable level. Just restart.

Actually, the cube flought into the emancipation grid in Chamber 01. THIS is the reason, why GLaDOS dropped a new cube.
