  • LOVE YOU ALL K&N!

  • As long as the filter is cleaned properly, no cleaner should be remaining on the filter before oiling it.

  • Probably not the oil but the cleaner will get back on that. It's a good filter but shit hit the fan after I cleaned my filter with their cleaner and oil.

  • Probably not the oil but the cleaner will get back on that.

  • so from what i understand he says the oil does come off the filter unless it is at normal speeds but come on isn't this classed as a performance modification , And normally people who modify there cars don't tend to drive normally (heavy acceleration , high speeds , lots of revs etc etc)

so if this is ment to be a performance modification why does it damage your car if you decide to do any perfomance driving ????

    PLEASE REPLY

  • The video shows that oil does not come off the filter even in extreme condions.

  • @lilpattman - K&N has tested this myth at 1000+CFM and no oil ever left the filter, most engines consume an avg of 500 CFM - I think that would considered ABOVE aggressive conditions. Google their testing procedures, it's explained in detail. It has YET TO BE PROVEN THAT THE OIL COMES OFF THE FILTER... NEVER, EVER been validated.

  • @lilpattman - CFM per minute that is.
