Just pointing this out, but he's opened a new account and he's already got more than a few pages of hate comments. On top of this, he states in a small paragraph that he went to therapy.

True, but in this case, it's even worse because it is YouTube. The thing is that this kid put up some videos and other people downloaded them, multiplied them and edited them to make fun of him. Now those are some tracks that are very difficult, if not impossible, to wipe out.

Yup, you guessed it! Actually, the points I make about this situation are true for your previous tutorial-video, too. That video got a lot of views and people put hate comments to it as well. It's almost always the case: if you make a video that somehow gets popular, you can expect a lot of hate comments as well. That's something you really need to keep in mind before wishing for a lot of views and subscribers.

The main problem youtube actually has is the high number of 'easily ignited' people. What ever happened to the 'instead of commenting or watching the entire video; click the X in the top right corner' rule, it's pointless. Why thrash a 12 year old that hasn't fully understood the effects some views cause when you can just nudge them to say, 'tone it down a bit will you?'

You're right. There's no point in going after a kid who doesn't have any life experience and hasn't fully learnt how to express his opinions properly. People aren't fully mature until their late 20s anyway. That kid still has a lot of growing up to do. The problem with the people going at him is that they are also immature and have a lot of growing up to do.
