I grew up in the 90's and 00's so I prefer the newer Nick At Nite because they play shows I grew up with. The show I wish they had would be Boys Meets World.
Its really annoying that they have to change everything, just because its a different time and decade. All they are doin is messing it up and making it less better.
@RCTelevision134 But you have to understand something... Nick at Nite was developed to air "Classic TV". Classic meaning they don't make shows like they used to...
Bob Newhart, Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, The Partridges, Dragnet and the like. Recent shows like what every one else is airing?? Like how many times and how many networks air "Every body Loves Raymond?" or "Friends?" Last time I checked it was at least 3. Not one airs "The Donna Reed Show."
@Jantv81 Yeah, you're right. I don't know what I was thinking when I made that comment.
I was trying to explain that it made sense from a corporate perspective, since advertising agencies are generally more willing to advertise on more recent programs.
But ultimately, Nick at Nite has no need to be so greedy, being owned by a company as rich as Viacom. It's time for the quality shows of the 50s and 60s to make a comeback. We don't need to see the same bland sitcoms on every channel.
@RCTelevision134 Too many cable channels have deviated from their original purposes, and I'm getting sick and tired of it. No wonder people are dropping cable services; it's not worth it anymore.
NAN used to be good. Now they have trash shows. George lopez sucks. It is played too much. I hate the marathons. It is played to death like fresh prince was. I dont miss that crap show either. EHC sucks as does malcolm. And The worst is glenn martin. This is the dumbest show ever.
How would you know if you weren't even alive in the 50s or 60s? The old black-and-white shows they used to play in the 90's are a BILLION times better than George Lopez and The Nanny.
I coudn't agree with you more!! I'm only 23, so i was little when this was on, but that shows you just how enjoyable it was; i still remember the old Nick at Nite. The current version of the channel just breaks my heart : (
Yoo bad the network has dropped ALL the decent programming now, Just like TV Land.

I like the shows they show now on Nick at Nite. The 80's and 90's are better than the 50's and 60's.

I've watched I Love Lucy and Andy Griffith before. I like Fresh Prince and Family Matters more.

What I don't understand is how Nick-at-Nite turned to shit all of a sudden.
This feels as if I was watching something from 30 years ago.
