IMHO, seriously lacking in talent. Not a lot going on with the guitarist, I can barely even hear the drums, and the vocalist has to be one of the weakest growlers I have ever seen. The lyrics also not only make little sense but they aren't very creative either. I do, however like the energy with which they project. Just wish they had something better to deliver with all that power.

Women have broader vocal ranges, the only thing they usually lack is a "fuck it all" type of attitude. Huntress is certainly an example of a band with a female singer that is a great metal vocalist. That may be a dwarf playing basketball, but a quick and well trained dwarf is a much better athlete than some fat, clumsy tall dude.

Sometimes I listen to Dark Wave, anything that sounds dark but melodic in the underground genre. I also listen to Blackest Orchid -favorite songs are "Empty Graves" and "Realm of the Damned". Check it out. It's currently a one woman project.

The female lead singer of Huntress sounds like a high pitched version of Wendy O. Williams (lead singer of The Plasmatics), and in some parts, sounds a bit like a melodic Cadaveria. It's possible that they're following the footsteps of The Plasmatics, don't you think?
