Damn my computer can hardly handle PS1 emulations let alone PS2...
Ps2 roms are not easy for me to find. You could get KH2FM imported. It has both Japanese and English dialogue... but only text in kanji.
I remember having fun with Sonic the Hedgehog games because it allowed you to alternate between languages. A shame Square couldn't do something like that.

They may sound "cuter" than the english voices, but the english ones fit better. Seriously, why would a 15 year old sound like that? Now, maybe Kairi's voice was better in Japanese, but that's the only one, and that's a "maybe".
The truth is that the Japanese public actually liked the english version better. That's why when the Final Mixes were released, it was with English voice overs.
Now that you are wrong about. Final Mix was released as an international version, just like Final Fantasy X Internation, but remains a Japanese Exclusive.
What are you talking about? Final Mix was only released in Japan, but I have seen cutscenes in English. These cutscenes WERE NOT in the original release.
Example- A scene between Roxas and Riku (as Ansem). Riku made "sora" appear before roxas, then spun the letters around, which formed the word "roxas"
Example 2- the small scene between Xemnas and sora in kh1, right before sora fights him.
Both scenes were released in japan, but had english voice overs.
It's still an international version. That's what they released it as. The didn't add the option, to play the voices in Jap., but that's why it was a japanese exclusive.
It was released as a japanese exclusive, meaning: only in japan. But it was an international version for the japanese to let the japanese see the story from our perspective.
If you remember, Roxas was put into the digital twilight town to be hidden from the organization.
Besides, roxas had that name WHEN he was IN the organization. By the time roxas was in twilight town, he was already abducted by riku and put into the digital world.
If you still don't agree then you need to replay KH2 and maybe Re: CoM, because what I stated is what has pretty much been stated straightforward in the games.
-Hollow Bastion: Sora pierces his heart with the Keyblade, and turns himself into a Heartless. At that same moment, Roxas was born into Twilight Town. Roxas wanders around, confused, until Xemnas appears and gives Roxas his name, as well as introduce him into the Organization. Afterwards, Xemnas leaves for Hollow Bastion while Roxas meets Axel.
-Hollow Bastion (after Keyhole is sealed): Sora meets Xemnas, who proceeds to test him.
-Roxas begins to wonder the nature of himself and his relationship with Sora, whom he knew nothing about. As a result, Roxas defects from the Organization.
-DiZ informs Riku that reuniting Roxas with Sora would speed up the memory process, so Riku sets out to hunt for Roxas.
-Riku meets Roxas in the World That Never Was, and in a series of two battles (Riku having lost the first), Riku successfully subdues Roxas, but at the cost of turning into Xehanort's Heartless.
-Riku brings Roxas back to DiZ, who digitalizes Roxas (and removes his memories) into an imaginary Twilight Town in order to throw off the Organization. Using Naminé, DiZ sets in motion a plan to bring Roxas and Sora together. So begins Kingdom Hearts 2.
Kingdom Hearts 2:
-Roxas and his remaining days of summer vacation occurs.
-Axel, who's been sent to destroy Roxas for defection, finds a way into the imaginary Twilight Town, and attempts to convince Roxas back to his side.
-After realizing Roxas had lost his memories, Axel attempts to eliminate him, per his orders--but fails. Roxas regains his memories through the events of the Town Mansion; despite his anger at having been tricked, used, and having realized that he's a Nobody, he accepts his fate and goes along with DiZ's plan.
i think you're the one who got the plot mixed up...
if you want further proof, look at the cutscene again. The voice of the hooded figure who gives Roxas his name matches the voice for Xemnas (Japanese version).
Ok dude u have to play The other two KH games! It looks like u haven't even seen the clips that explain them! -_-' I'm not trying to be haterish but really. Ive played all three of the games for PS2 at least twice all the way through and u my friend have a lot of the time line screwed! In Re:com Axel didn't even know Roxas even Existed yet! And in KH 1? Xemnas never made any appearance throughout all the gameplay! (Continued)
If u've ever been lost then u know it takes a LONG time to find ur way back to where ur going! They couldn't have found Roxas right at the moment he was born! sure there are a few chance possibilities but rly? the rest of it is ok but if u pay attention to the clips then u'll see that Axel hadn't even lol'd until he started to mess with Marly's plan and helped Sora and Namine! So he couldn't have known about Roxas yet! If he had he'd have been a happier Axel who seems like he really has a heart!
these voices are at least a 100 times better than the german once
i really want to play with these voices

uhh, that wasn't Riku who named Roxas though, that was Xemnas...
Dezastico 3 years ago
I didn't say he "named" him, I said it just was written in the air. He showed him the words.
herofromthedark 3 years ago
yeah, the black hooded guy who spelled "Roxas" from "Sora X" was Xemnas, not Riku.
By doing so, Xemnas "gave" the name to Roxas.

Kingdom Hearts 1:
-Hollow Bastion: Sora pierces his heart with the Keyblade, and turns himself into a Heartless. At that same moment, Roxas was born into Twilight Town. Roxas wanders around, confused, until Xemnas appears and gives Roxas his name, as well as introduce him into the Organization. Afterwards, Xemnas leaves for Hollow Bastion while Roxas meets Axel.
-Hollow Bastion (after Keyhole is sealed): Sora meets Xemnas, who proceeds to test him.

Kingdom Hearts CoM:
-Roxas is away on missions for the Organization, and Axel is sent to Castle Oblivion to spy on the Castle Organization members.
-Events of Chain of Memories occur, and after all the "traitors" have been eliminated, Axel leaves the Castle.
-Sora sleeps within the machine to regain his memories, and Riku leaves the Castle with the King.
Some time between the end of Chain of Memories and the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2...

one last thing though, i think you're getting the real Twilight Town mixed up with the imaginary one.
When Roxas was "born," the place he was born into was the real Twilight Town, a year before the events of Kingdom Hearts 2.

Correction 1: It's "Kawaii"
Correction 2: Your English. Not Japanese. If your going to speak Japanese, do it right with actual kana, and then talk.
(I suddenly realize how annoying that can be.)
