I don't think Casey was rude, I think he was in an unpleasant mood to begin with because as he said he 'hates interviews'. I think his mind was wandering and obviously his heart wasn't in it because he doesn't enjoy doing it. He made sure the kids knew that he didn't mind them interviewing him, just that he doesn't like interviews as a general thing.
