  • Kinda laggy against Dracula's first form.

    Anyway, nice run ^^

  • Meow!! My eye!!!!

  • Vampire Killer and Simon's theme remix, PLUS Vulcan Raven's voice? WIN.

  • the dracula music could've been better...

  • Dracula just never learns, does he?

  • THE CLOCK TOWER THEME IS REALLY EPIC!!!

  • By the way, Dracula's line makes no sense. It's as if he thouht Alucard would be the protaganist. Belmont IS human.

  • I just want to say it's a disgrace, a disgrace, that Dracula doesn't have his own music in the first two forms. It's anticlimactic, and Dracula's always had his own music. I thought the boss music in the game was pretty passable, but when they gave Dracula that boss music I realized how subpar it was, at least for Dracula.

  • They should have named them Pussy mode and Epic mode

  • off to buy a wii :)

  • So Dracula is part panther? I never knew.

  • WHAT IS A MAN?

  • @garrahasfunk I was a bit let down when I didn't see Drac toss his wine glass. "Have at you!"

  • @GrahamChapman

    I don't think it's Paul Eiding.

On a related note,I actually never put two and two together, i had no idea he voiced the main character off Sacrifice. Or at least i didn't pay attention enough back then.

  • @BlastedToitles: I'm having my doubts as well, though I still think Drac sounds uncanningly much like Eldred in this appearance.

Well, truth to be told, I didn't either. It's more thanks to a by-chance coincidence that I know it was him... Hmm. Sacrifice... That was a great-tastic game.

  • ... I swear, every time I hear Dracula say "As ever, the ally of worthless humans" I can just hear him add "We were all there, Zyzyx, we don't have to recount every last detail"... Seriously, could someone please tell me who's voicing Dracula in ReBirth? Is it Paul Eiding? Help a guy out here, will ya?

  • @GrahamChapman

At 6:00 shows an oddly western name, "Jason Nisperos" under Sound units. Your mystery voice?

  • @SilentStalkerX: *googles it* ... Hmm, I don't seem to be able to find any verification. The hits I do get on Jason Nisperos, in ralation to games, are mostly related to video game music, and I cannot find any indication that he has ever voiced ol' Drac.

  • @GrahamChapman Well, in some of the previous Castlevania games, Patrick Seitz voices Dracula, and as for as I know, they never officially said who voiced him in this, but it sounds just like Patrick Seitz, so I'm assuming he voice him in this.

  • @Noborux: Hmm. Y'know, now that I've checked up upon it, (after my initial reaction of disbelief, that is,) I'd say that you are actually right there, dude... Now I just have to sit down for a minute so that the awesomeness of the fact that Dracula is Ragna The Bloodedge sinks in properly.

  • @GrahamChapman Yeah I was shocked too, though to be honest, I only knew of Patrick Seitz because of Castlevania, and yet I am also surprised that no one really notices that he voices Dracula! I honestly think he should remain as the voice of Dracula in the future Castlevania games.

  • @Noborux: Considering how many roles he has voiced during his career (you can find a list on wikipedia, if you're interested) it's a wonder that 1) he's not more well-known than he is and 2) he mainly voices minor characters and/or characters that don't get especially many lines... Yeah, I also think he makes a good Dracula. Actually, I think he appears to make good characters period, though, considering his minor appearances, he seems to be very underrated.

  • @GrahamChapman Yeah, I guess you could say he is sorta underrated. though it usually is the underrated voice actors/actresses that will remain very talented, even if not known to all. though I just looked at his Wiki list, and I notice that the anime list he is indeed credited, but the game section.. he seems hes not credited barely, that could be one of the reasons hes not known. but I only seem to recognize his Castlevania roles sadly, though lets just hope konami keeps him as Dracula.

  • i see dracula learned new tricks

  • The last form of Dracula reminds of the Lawnmower Man for some reason.

  • I love the music for Dracula's final form. I think the music is 'The Riddle' from Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on the Nintendo DS. I don't know if it appeared in any previous Castlevania game.

  • @TheKidDoc81 Castlevania III

  • You can't have Castlevania without the Vampire Killer theme! :D

  • or any other popular CV theme.

  • And yet SotN did. (Well, at least the playstation version.)

  • @sdcazares1980 What's also interesting is that Konami used "Vampire Killer" for the final stage rather than the first stage. Saving the best for last, huh?

  • @VampiricBushkid dude.

    go back fapping to twilight.

  • @nintendude8VG i don't even watch that stepanie myers crap. Assdickward

  • Usually, the more powerful Dracula is, the younger he looks. And there is in fact a room of goodies. And the ecclesia voice is awesome.

  • Aw noes, why did Dracula has to talk ?!

  • to bad it ain't Norio Wakamoto.

  • 0:15 - Was that an intended T-bag?

  • the mask of lord of shadows final form?

  • how much doe sthis game costs

  • 1000 wii points

  • @VixyNyan

BS. THIS 2D SHIT FEST DESERVES TO COST 1 WII POINT. ASSHOLES MADE THIS CRAP.

  • @Roxas80

That tune dates back to Castlevania III on NES.

  • Oh I didn't know that, still it's cool all the same.

  • who voiced Dracula?

  • I think its the same guy who him in the psp version of sotn

  • Yep. It's Patrick Seitz.

  • LOL, you get completely ripped off at the end if you're playing on Easy difficulty. Glad I did my first playthrough on Normal.

  • Yea, this first playthrough is Normal~ :3

  • good gameplay and good game

  • PWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

  • Btw fuck Konami for not releasing it in Europe.

  • they WHAT? why?

  • It just hasn't been released YET in Europe. That's all.

  • All right, but what's the reason for that?

All the translation can be done in 5 minutes f they want to include the other languages, and besides, the EU Wii Shop Channel is dead for 3 weeks.

  • Not only that but most of the game was in English anyway. So it makes me ask why the US release took two months. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if it took an extra two months, if not more for the EU version.

If the EU Shop Channel is dead, that's probably something on Nintendo Europe's part. I wouldn't blame Konami.

Even so, although a release date hasn't been announced for EU as of yet, I wouldn't equate that with no plans to releasing it, at least not yet anyway.

  • By Wii Shop Channel being dead I mean only one or two WiiWare gets released every week (and no VC), and they are like "Eat! Fat! Fight!" and "Happy Hammerin'". Sounds like great games, huh?

The developer (Konami) decides when they upload their games, am I right?

  • I was always under the impression Nintendo made the call when something gets released on the Wii Shop Channel. If I'm totally wrong, my bad. If it's Konami's call I hope they're not delaying it just to see how the US version is doing before deciding. I hate that crap.

You could try to contact Konami Europe via e-mail and politely ask them to confirm that it'll be released in Europe, though I wouldn't expect them to answer when.

It's frustrating but sometimes patience pays off in the end.

  • No, it's Nintendo who decides what will be released.

That is one of the bigger flaws in digital distribution: The company behind the platform decides what's out and what's not.

  • @SobmicSSBB They should seriously make everything available for d/l and see how many games sell that haven't sold in a decade. My biggest issue is that all these next gen console don't support *all* previous gen titles. They say "backwards compatability" when they really mean "half-assed emulation". Some companies *coughSONYcough* even cut that out all together after being one of its key features at launch.

  • I'm not sure if the Wii uses emulation for Gamecube games though so I can't say "all" current systems.

  • too bad ass. this is the only other castlevania

besides part 3 where dracula has 3 forms.

well, i guess he had 3 forms in bloodlines, but they were gay. you can tell dracula is at full power in this game :p

  • Wrong, in the Rondo of Blood remake on the PSP Dracula has 3 forms too.

And the 3rd is one of the most challenging and epic final boss fights ever in a CV game, he has tons of different attacks.

  • his 3rd form in rondo of blood is the most epic? just saw a video of it, he's in human form with wings... not all that cool. But yeah my bad, didn't realize they totally changed the last fight for the psp version.

  • Not the looks of him were epic, but all his attacks. You constantly had to keep moving and dodge his stuff while attacking. And he had like 10 different attacks. It was a very stimulating fight.

  • Wow there are so many nods to a lot of the other castlevania games the music levels and even that attack from Order of Ecclesia

  • its like a game made recycling the other castlevania games stuff xd

  • 2:05 that move from Order of Ecclesia

  • VAMPIRE KILLER!!!.

  • errrm has this com out in wii ware plzzzz answer

  • English version came out December 28, 2009. :3

  • LIES!!!...*goes and checks* You're right, it has come out yay ^.^

  • @VixyNyan why dint you spoil you arsehole?

  • I beat this game in 1.5 hrs

  • hehe 0:16 Belmont is humping the clock...

What Belmont appears in this game?

  • Christopher Belmont, I believe.

  • Yeah I beleive ur right. The original Castlevania Adventure had Christopher.

  • Comparing the remake's ending over the original's: the castle collapses in the original while here, it get's suck in that vortex much like in Symphony of the Night. I like the collapses more.

  • the song you heard Dracula 3rd form come from castlevania 3.

  • if you're wondering what song plays at the 3rd dracula form, it's a mix of riddle from Order of Ecclessia. This while game actually looks like it's worth getting if you're a hardcore castlevania fan.

  • So, watching this again, the music that played during the transition from 2nd to 3rd form, what song was that? Can't figure out.

And I'm still awed with Simon's theme played as the victory tune. Sweet mix!

  • I dont know why but the final form of dracula reminds me of the mask that are going to be on lords of shadows

  • looks awesome

  • Dracula always looks like he's bored waiting for the belmonts to show up. and kick his butt. I knew Vampire Killer had to be in there.

  • Wow.

That final form has to be the COOLEST looking Dracula form EVER!!!!

  • And then Simon's theme plays.o_O

Considering the prota's Christopher, this came as a surprise.

  • Bloodlines had Simon's Theme play as well despite the protagonists not being Belmonts at all.

  • why couldn't they make this game longer? 6 stages? Castlevania 4 was the longest I think.

  • It had many stages, but do note that some of theme are shorter than others. When all things considered, Super Castlevania 4 only had like 8 stages with around 13 bosses.

  • @gradius55

Actually Castlevania III is technically the longest of the side scrolling Castlevania's. Super Castlevania IV is in second place but it's still a long ass game...

This game needed at least 1 or 2 extra stages and the tracks should have been "Ripe Seeds" and "Darkness" just to keep in theme with the Gameboy roots a bit more.

The game is still awesome in it's own right though. They did the same thing with Contra Rebirth....I so wanted a Stage with Battle Runner. :(

  • Wow like i had totally forgotten about draculas third form. Then i remember "wait a minute i played this game before" yeah! hes so easy to beat in the Game Boy version. Any ways thanks for the awesome video. I wonder when we will be getting it down in the states.

  • Finally :D Ghost Form replaced to Gigant BAT :D

  • PITIFUL HUMAN

YOUR KIND CANNOT DEFEAT ME NOW

    Epic.

  • Just found out he said the same thing in CV Judgment

  • Comment removed

  • pitiful human, your kind can not defeat me now! wow, that became a new favorite line of mine from Dracula. also the third form looks like the mask from Lords of Shadow.

  • Oh yes, Riddle from CV3! :D

  • the way that kicks into the fight is just so perfect

  • Man its not the theme from Dracula X(Final Battle theme)

  • What? no cape?

  • WHAT DRACULA IS THE FREAKING ALIEN

  • actually the final form is from castlevania 3. love the voice in from judgement ^_^

  • Dracula transformed into his castle... WOW!!

  • fatal rain from order of Ecclesia anyone? (his second form)

also holy shit his final form D:

  • Actually, that sprite is recycled from True Dracula in Portrait of Ruin, but it looks much more like his Fatal Ray/Destruction Ray attacks from Ecclesia.

Also, the third form's music is from Ecclesia too...

  • @underthepale ive never played the original castlevania adventure but maybe ooe is the one who re-used (well, rearranged the song) and the remake using it.

also, in por dracula didn't looked a bit different...

  • @underthepale euhm srry. i meant doesn't look that way from what i remember

  • It's actually from Dracula's Curse.

  • Why is this Dracula...

    so...fucking...AWESOME LOOKING!!!

  • Wow I love Dracula's forms in this game.

  • DAT GIANT DRACULAR HEAD!

  • wonder if they will do a rebirth of the second adventure game

  • dracula just would not stay down!!!!

im am getting this game, no way am i missing out

  • Norio Kawamoto lol xD

Awesome game, I'll play it when it comes here

  • it's a great little game. think Castlevania Chronicles w/ some sounds from Icarian but that was the european title. got it today. lol yeah it's way old school. gameplay style of the first one. but updated syth'y music n awesome sound effects on surround sound system (simulated to fade on all the speakers). i'm on stage 4 now myself. reminds me of the timing factors mega man had.

  • Lol. Not challenging? Have you played it?

  • probably meant to be played on Classic, not normal

  • Where's Norio Wakamoto? Ouch. :/

  • Yeah... His name was on the credits ("Special Thanks" part).

But Draculas's voice was in english...

Nothing against it, but... what the hell...

  • Well, Patrick Seitz is essentially the official voice for Dracula from DX Chronicles onward. He's played him in every game since that, including the newly translated SotN and Judgment.

  • Nope, Norio Wakamoto was not on the Special Thanks list.

    However, Norio Kawamoto was.

  • damn... thats true.

    I ****** up...

    Thanks

  • It was extremely easy to miss though. Seriously, Kawamoto and Wakamoto?

    That's just evil. D:

  • I love how fast Dracula teleports in his initial form. Beats the hell out of waiting for him to appear.

Also for some reason his final form reminds me of Sigma from one of the MegaMan X games.

  • Dracula custom and transformation are better than before...

  • Whoa! Thanks for uploading!

  • this game is awesome

    thanks for the uploads

  • Ok I know all the Castlevania games have great music but this one is flawless

  • Well it has great music but its like an old arcade machine not bad though! its an old school castlevania.

  • This soundtrack is simply awesome, so many near forgotten songs, remixed into a great remake.

  • Ohh!! i recognized them by the logo!!! yeah the guys of FFTA2 music!! :D osom !!!

I just loved monster dracula, really agressive and the moves arent as easy to avoid

  • This fight's nothing like theoriginal.

And I'm completely fine with that.

  • What does Dracula say when he morphs into his second form? His voice was cut off because you whipped him. :P

  • "everything must burn" i tihnk is what he was going to say before he was cut off

  • O_O

THE FINAL BATTLE MUSIC IS «RIDDLE»!?

My body has just emptied itself by every possible orifice in supreme satisfaction.

  • yep, and the music of credits is The end of Day of Castlevania Adventure 2.

  • Epic.

I now wished I never watched these vids lol..

  • Hahahaha...same here, but I'm tired of waiting for the game to be released in the U.S., and I figured that I could just watch somebody else play it. Awesome-looking game.

  • Classic mode: This is delicious! Yess, YESSSS!

you know.. when i sawq the first video i was.. damn you can control your jumps... i was amazed by the rest of teh game thought, now this is the final touch!

  • It's nice to hear Crispin Freeman reprise his role as Dracula in this game, for he is, IMO, the best voice for Dracula in the new Castlevania games.

Also, Dracula's third form almost looks like the mask from "Lord of Shadows".

  • sounds more like patrick, dracula x chronicles, order of ecclesia and judgment

  • Correct. That's Patrick Seitz.

  • Phenomenal! I'm really wishing I had a Wii right about now.

  • Fantastic.

  • Awesome game!!

    Thank you for uploading!!

  • Dracula´s final form is really cool!

  • looks kinda like the mask from lords of shadow

  • konami needs to stop bitching around and make a full fledge 2d retail metroidvania game for the wii. with all the great looking 2d games the wii has been dishing out, theres no reason why we cant see a 2d-eyecandy-castlevania on the system.

  • Cool game! Thank you for this uploading. ;)

  • I don't think Vampire Killer has ever sounded so epic.

  • Looks better then Dragon Age =)
