Going into detail on how this is created would take way too long ...

The programs I used have been mentioned already ...

The main one being DesktopX Pro from Stardock and there are many online tutorials for it.

How long did you take to make this desktop? Where you got the concept that how this desktop will going to look like? Canu you send me the sample major image files that you used for the center please... I just wana see how the center thing is revolving? You desingned the whole graphics for the main desktop yourself?

Corel Draw to make the ring ...

Photoshop to make the .png animation from the Corel drawing.

I may make several objects to that link to Windows programmes such as the Recycle Bin,Start Menu, Shutdown etc.

Then people could build there own animated desktop placing the objects where they like on the desktop.

Hi,

That was my intention but there are two problems.

1st

Many of the links to the various programs are specific to my PC where they are installed etc. ... there is no way to make them editable by the user such that they could put in there own links.

2nd

I made it using Desktop X pro ... part of the licence agreement is that I do not distribute complete desktops,don't know why.
