As a former catholic and now an agnostic I find it interesting that catholics consider themselves the one true christian church. Even a cursary reading of the bible would indicate that many catholic beliefs are not christian but the remnants of ancient babylonian beliefs and the traditions of dysfunctional popes. Its no wonder the protestant reformation occured and in more recent history the appearance of restoration movements such as the mormons.
