The basics are great but sometimes you need to remember less is more. Gary Numan would understand that. Respect it. But I would be happy to have you playing in any band I was in as long as you could show a bit of restraint. This isn't jazz ya know.....

Guys, I think anyone who is into Numan deserves total respect.

Sorry to be pedantic though, but Cedric Sharpley didn't play drums on the recorded version of Are Friends Electric? it was actually Gary's uncle Jess Lidyard who played on the whole Replicas album. Sharpley was first recruited for The Pleasure Principle sessions, the Touring Princple live shows, and of course the Old Grey Whistle Test and Top Of The Pops performances of Are Friends Electric.

My main crash is a Sabian 18" AA Rock Crash, the one to my left is a Tosco 18" Full Crash, the one on my right is Wuhan S Series Crash, and on my far right is a Wuhan 18" Lion China. My Ride is a 20" Sabian AA Rock ride, and my Hats are Sabian AA Rock Hats. And tlast but not least, the trsh hats are a weird combo of an unidentified italian 12" splash cymbal, and a Sabian AA mini china
