DAMN I LOVE THIS TRACK I LISTEN TO IT LIKE 10 TIMES NO LIE! Monie is cute by the way sexy in her own way! She reminds of Aaliyah with the baggy clothes!
on all these 90 vids/music everybody say da sam ish, what can we do to bring this style of music back...damn i get goose bumps just listen to this...baggy clothes n she still sexy
THIS VIDEO IS OFF THE HOOK! I BELIEVE THIS SONG WAS PART OF EITHER "HOUSE PARTY 2" OR "CLASS ACT". SOUNDTRACK.....I DON'T RECALL WHICH, BUT I KNOW KID N PLAY WERE IN IT!
Respond to this video... What happened to Monie Love? I know she had fallout with Queen Latifah. If you're not as hot as your last hit, this business and the phonies it creates will toss you out, like a wet food stamp!

im just thankful that i grew up in an era of music when music had substance. i dont think its fair to say that one era of music is better than another because times change like everything else but for me 90s R&B was the best era plain and simple. R.I.P. 90s hip hop. we miss you.
Wanna be me mann? Aight here's myy namee & nmba, buu if youur not suree stop! look, listen & learn, bczz i'm lookin for a lovee, tht will last a full term.. :) Sweet
When Monie first debuted, I didn't dig her style. That played a lot into her first single (Monie in the middle) but as time went by (and I matured), I started to understand her and her sound, she's a deep sister.
I really miss this kind of music and the colorful clothes. I mean, it seemed like we had our own sound, style, class, etc. Now, the fashion is just a bunch of mess. I really miss those days.
She is so pretty!! Not only that she has flow and delivery.. rappers today need to take notes!!! I don't remember watching this video but it's dope. Hands down one of the best female Mcs and that's real.
@carmelgoddess612 That has got to be one of the most ignorant comments I have ever seen.... There are female rappers that beef as well as male rappers and there are also bisexual female rappers as well.... I don't understand how a bi female can say something as ignorant as that.
This was and is still the shit. A serious message for your subconscious mind to absorb and a groove that just had you dancing your ass off. I didn't even know Monie lives in Philly. I knew she did the radio thing for a minute but I didn't know she still resides here. Your comments are dead on BjBx3. What happened? Music has so much to do with molding minds even though many will deny it. Even though we had some hardcore joints back in the day it was never like this.
this was a real rap by a real female rapper. I am so tired of male rappers strsaight up either they got beef, going to jail or DL or straight up gay. not saying anything bad about GLBT cause im a bi woman however it is up to the WOMEN to save HIP HOP
This is my shit....it sucks that they dont have music like this anymore...i miss that old school sound...in the beats, the way they rapped...everything. hip hop is too serious now...too cocky...
@BjBx3 You don't understand! I've looked for this song for more than 16 years. Had it on tape when it came out but never knew the title and never knew it was Monie Love! Have been googling it under Queen Latifah and calling it "Full Time Love"...No luck for so long! Oh God I feel like jumping!! This was my shiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!
why dont they make music like this nemore!! this takes me back to my primary school days!! im 23 now but i was 7 when this was out. thanks 4 da throwback!! london stand up! im from peckham and monie was from up da road in battersea!! classic!
That was my motto back in the day and still is....tell 'em Monie these new school chicks like Niki Minaj is setting these young girls up for failure respect your bodies young ladies!!
i use to see monie love when she was a judge on mtv's lip service, she even brought her 1st born daughter to the show, her husband lived around the corner from me,i liked her london accent, and i liked her style of rappin, btw big lez was the choreographer for this music video, awesome song.
@Blakkset that's awesome! i luv prince,he will be in ny this month, however i saw in in 2006 at the BET AWARDS,the 1 wit jay-z n beyonce performing together, thanks for the info.
go monie! go monie! monie love use to be very tight with rapper queen latifah, btw they are now filming a new movie about queen latifah called "just right" i applied for it so lets see what happens,i believe when 1 door shuts by man,god opens another door.
I love this song man, no homo, but every time I hear it I wanna shed a tear cause those days are gone an real music doesn't exist anymore. Good Lookin
Man, happend with everything damn, did this song get banned because of the lyrics around the way cause it like Monies fine cool laid bacc, man chics are way different now Im mean really with no explanation!?
FACT: Did you know that her niece was also a popstar she's called Baz and she had couple of singles in 2001/2002 including a top 40 hit "Believers" in late 2001. The song became a massive hit in the clubs.
@ Kylie4Eva: Wherever I go on youtube I see your stupid random comments and self-applied 'FACTS'. No one gives a toss what you think - THAT is a 'FACT'.
This version is not as good as the uk single mix. This version is the album version. All in all it's a great track. Not heard a track like this since she collaborated on Jungle Brothers' "Doin' Our Own Dang" in 1990.
she sure was from london - battersea in south london in fact - just 5 mins from my crib is where she lived before she saw sense and went to the US cuz if she staayed over here she wouldn't have made it at all - sad to say but TRUE. Got mad love for her
Monie Love really set the bar high lyrically for chicks in this industry. Fast or slow my girl was not to be played with. And what I always respected about her was she had no gimmick. She was a girl from the average 'hood that just happened to have some serious flow. Full Term Love is my favorite Mo' love joint!!!

I miss the good ol days... wake up ladies, if you don't respect yourselves, no one will respect you!
This is just one whoppingly fabulous vocal thing. One of the great recordings in music history. M.Love showed us all how to ride that beat with the voice.
ikanttakeit...What are you? One of them ppl that have their heads stuck in the sand??? What kinda role models you have? Cuz obviously, whoever you be jockin aint doin a good job cuz u spelled "role" when u typed "roll model".
i was born in 87 but i have older brother and sister and they listen to hip hop back then so i grew up with this type of music and new jack swing this is when hip hop was hip hop not none of this nonsense thats out now i wish all the old school hip hop artist can come together and do a concert
I remember watchin' this on Video Music Box when I was 6....She was my 1st crush.....On top of that, she had such a fluid flow & clean lyrics that were dope. We need some female MCs like her in the game again
This is my CUT from way back, man do i miss diz 3ra

The beat of this track is tight, and Monie Love could flow, and she was one of the prettiest women in hip hop, outstanding!!

I remember watchin' this on Video Music Box when I was 6....She was my 1st crush.....On top of that, she had such a fluid flow & clean lyrics that were dope. We need some female MCs like her in the game again
