Same parent company is gonna use a lot of the same parts though out their whole range. The Continental is going to share a lot of the same parts with other high-end Volkswagen Brands. So in essence, it's basically reverse badge engineered.
The Ford Escape and the Mazda Tribute are different makes, yes. Underneath the badge they're the same. See? It's magic.
@ItsRyanStudios Granted the Continental isn't being made in Puebla, Mexico with the Jetta, or in Brazil, or whatever. They're assembled in different facilities using some Bentley-only parts. The majority of which, are shared (and it's an undeniable fact) with the Volkswagen Phaeton. The facts tell the story, make sure you're researching it before posting anything.
