  • Nice RSASS you got there.

  • Красивое оружие.

  • Umm, isn't this a Mod1?

  • lol i was about to say...... does the shooter know that the bolt is still to the rear lol but he figured it out later hahaha

  • 2" group at 75 feet? with a WOA....its definately is more challenging at 300ft.

  • @tundraotto - No shit, that's why I normally shoot it at a 100yd outdoor range with a stable bench instead of a wobbly pistol rest, but neither weather nor time was permitting the afternoon this was shot.

  • SO INTENCE

  • What kind of groups do you get with that WOA barrel?

  • Is that a mil dot scope?

  • explain what this is, this is a BANG replica o BANG sadhajkshd Bang

  • man that break and collar is too expensive.

  • @adobo777 - They're not cheap, but you can't mount an OPS Inc 12th model can without them... which I bought for this last summer.

  • i have the softair of this gun^^

  • get rid of the prs, go milspec stock, looks better on mod0

  • @MultiSr16 I like how the A2 stock looks on the SPR

  • @adobo777 yea me too., i dont like this stock, your sayin you like this one or the a2?? i like the a2 better on mk12's

  • Sweet Rifle !!! Does it fire 5.56 ?

  • i need the rail riser(pls correct if i am wrong) for this specific type of SPR.. can anyone pm me where to get the cheapest?

  • @nakazatoGTR - The rail is a ARMS #38 SPR PEQ-2-3, the scope rings are ARMS #22 medium. Hope that helps.

  • @understeerdotcom thanks.. now price range on such new rails?

  • @understeerdotcom arrgh $180. thats 2 full paychecks. will look into it... thanks a lot.

  • no mk12 ever sported a PRS.....nice gun though...

i also think the mk12 was designed to shoot further that 25 yards...seriously bro..get it to a real range...

  • @benchmstr - as mentioned in previous comments, I usually only shoot it at 100+ yard outdoor ranges, but we had 60+ MPH winds and a storm that day.

  • Wikipedia says "The SPR is not used to fire standard issue 5.56mm M855 or M193 ball or M856 tracer ammunition. Due to the limits in terminal performance and relatively poor accuracy of the 62-grain (4 g) M855 ball." In this case 30 yards or so may be accurate but I don't know if it could achieve a Designated Marksman's range.

  • Stupid boot, if at first you don't succed, chamber a round!

  • 77gr Nosler Custom Competition bullets, Ramshot Tac Powder, CCI Small Rifle Primer, Lapua Brass. Weigh and sort individual bullets and cases, and use either a powder trickler or RCBS 1500 powder measure to consistantly load the exact amount of powder per cartridge. Use a small base full length size die on the new brass to accurately size it. Trim it, and turn necks if necessary. Then use a collet neck die. Seat COL to max for magazine feed, and Lee factory crimp die.

  • @understeerdotcom how much does that rifle cost?

  • so there is an version of the mk12 spr that can be owned by civils, didnt know that

  • @dontmakemeMAD1990 Wow, a civ can own basically any gun!

  • @crisshort1996 mk12 mod 1?

    cheytac m200

    m40a5

    ...

  • @crisshort1996 No they basically can own any gun that has parts that are compatible to an AR-15. Don't expect to many civilians shooting the new fully automatic Bushmaster ACR's or TDI Kriss submachine guns. Basically any gun that looks like a M4/M16 can be bought or modified to look like one by a civilian.

  • @dontmakemeMAD1990 It's not that surprising you don't have to buy the complete gun. All you need is a AR-15 lower receiver and get an upper Mk12 receiver the gun will no even be registered as an Mk12. Those helicopter gunman in the movie "Live Free or Die Hard" (2007) had Mk12's but had fully automatic lower receiver's that means they did not buy the complete gun they put their own fully automatic parts on them and completed the gun.

  • @IMFDB but yea, that are the ar15/m16 mods

ot true rifles whit an name

  • @dontmakemeMAD1990 - The upper is built completely from the same parts as the mil spec rifles, just the lower is semi-auto only. If you pick up a registered lower or registered auto sear, you'd have the full auto option, but that's kind of pointless on a precision rifle anyway.

  • @understeerdotcom

so it doesnt difer much then

but the barrel and the stock are diferend then right ?

pointless hm indeed i think so :)

does there exualy exist an releable bulpup 5.56mm nato rifle that is semi automatic ?

and is build for accuraty and range ?

  • @dontmakemeMAD1990 - Mine has the exact same White Oak barrel and PRI fube used on the mil SPRs. I used a Magpul PRS stock, the mil SPRs just use the standard A2 M16 stock.

Not a lot of great 5.56mm bullpups out there, possibly the Isreali Tavor, but it's not available in the US. The Steyr AUGs are available, but I'm not sure how accurate they are.

  • @understeerdotcom yea i know about the tavor tar

and indeed now you say it, it is made for accuraty much

thanks for letting me remember that :)

but does there exist an bulpup 5.56mm sniper ?

i didnt found out about one like that

  • @understeerdotcom i just searched how the name of youre stock looks like

yea indeed thats much better for an sniper rifle

but i personaly think the mk12 in the millitairy is meant to be as cheap as posible

i dont think the stock is cheap isnt it ?

  • what's your typical grouping at 100yards like? I recently built an ar15 with the WOA spr barrel, but I'm getting 3" groups using 75 grains. Still trouble shooting the build, so I'm hoping to tighten that group up significantly... I'm suspicious I didn't torque the barrel nut enough.

  • @lostinperiphery - With a solid bench rest this build groups under 1" @ 100yds. Best 3 shot group is one jagged hole. The day I shot this video, we had 60MPH+ winds, so we had to shoot indoors... the shaky stool and pistol bench rest didn't exactly help, but it was better than not shooting at all.

  • @lostinperiphery 3 moa... lol. something's def wrong.

  • Very nice build of the SPR! It shoots well too.

A few recommendations: Use your support (left) hand under the buttstock or the off-hand rest on that PRS Stock. You will steady the barrel a lot better. In rare situations, a round can explode in the chamber and when it goes off, so does the bolt and the magazine. Most magazines explode as does everything below it.

  • drop the bolt there hoss! you are flinching a lot when firing....

  • @lowdose338

Recommendation: Squeeze the trigger with the fattest part of your finger rather than pulling the trigger. You won't know when to anticipate the rifle going off. This will reduce the flinch if you have one.

    Nice Rifle and safe shooting!

  • Оператор еблан...

  • I would get the S&B Short dot for a gun like this.

  • Our laws cannot allow us to own any carbide guns, so I enjoy airsoft replicas. I instantly fell in love with an Mk12 Mod 0 airsoft version when I first saw one. There is just something about the design, really beautiful IMO.

  • mk 12 mod 0 seems really nice especially with the mk 262 mod 1

  • I've got one of these but its in 6.8spc

  • I love the looks of these guns... i want to build one in 6.5grendal and top it with a Supersniper scope, but money is an issue right now :(

  • @GreshDarkmoon What's its effective range?

  • @Tree0rnament Around that of a 5.56 I think, I sold it a few months back. Heavier kick but closer to 7.62x51 in power.

  • @Tree0rnament The effective range with 77 grain ammo is about 6-700, but it is possible to get out to 1000 with it.

  • Nice video work, we really get to see the rifle. Did you build the upper? How much did the upper cost you all together?

  • The upper is from Adco, they're ~$1500.

  • This is a *BANG* semi-auto replica of the *BANG* *BANG* SPR MK12 MOD 0. Haha! How much does one of those cost, and does anyone know if it's CA legal?

  • Its not Ca legal. Ca legal rifles cant have a detachable mag and a pistol grip at the same time or its considered an assault weapon. sucks huh? U either have to pin the mag or get those ugly monster man grips to make it Ca compliant.

  • Yeah, I'm pissed. How much does it cost, though?

  • Sorry I dont know how much since Ive live in Cally too and pretty much given up on ar 15 type rifle. Im more of a bolt action guy. I would guess the one in this video with all after market parts would be $2-3k.

  • You can get AR15's in CA from Cold War Guns in Highland CA. They have pistol grips and what is called a "bullet button" for the mag. In short you can change the parts so you can remove the mag without it being a pain in the ass. Not really legal if you change it but gun ranges don't report things like that. Hell, i have 2 rifles with pistol grips and detachable mags.

  • Thanks, man.

  • @TheBuilder65

idiot im going to report you for being a dumbass and making it harder for us to own nice rifles

  • @crunchypsp

No buddy, it's little douchebags that post videos of them "bump firing" their rifles or showing off their semi autos. It 's the high school and collage age kids that take them to school. It's the assholes that robe banks (north Hollywood) that get the gun-grabbers on a "ban it" crusade. My advice to the other post is far from makes it hard to own them, what happens in the media does. Thanks for the laugh though..

  • nice weapon

  • What type of ammo were you using? 55 grain? 62? 75? 77? Something else?

  • 75 grain Prvi Partizan BTHP

  • i thought it was a airsoft gun til i knew you were at the range, but, nice gun!

  • how many yards were you shooting from? nice grouping.

  • Just 25 yards here, which isn't much of a challenge. I usually only take it to 100+ yard outdoor ranges.

  • If you don't mind me asking, what scope are you using on your Mk12 clone there?

    BTW sweet setup

  • Leupold 3.5-10x40mm LR/T

  • PS. Where did you get the OPS Inc muzzle brake?

  • From Adco Firearms. I'm planning to pick up an OPS Inc 12th Model can from them within the next few months too.

  • What do you think of the PRS stock? How much of it is plastic?

  • It's made very well and is quite solid. The internal structure is metal, the outside is almost all nylon.
