This is actually an Incenduarie round basiclly there is hardly every a true explosive mixture/powder to make with a round unless using some sort of sulfer or gun powder dont EVER cut the side/striker part of as it lowers the amount of true powder to about 75 %- 87% giving a smaller bang/smell

its not flashpowder, its a primary explosive.. well maybe low explosive if you use 1:1 ratio with matchpowder, but its not flashpowder at all

for me i took like a table spoon size and then light it and it went in around 1 second

if 1 table spoon didnt selfdetonate then you were either lucky or really bad at making it... use twice as much matchpowder but be careful.. too much friction or shock will detonate it.. 1 table spoon is quite alot dude.. if you use 2:1, twice as much matchpowder as striker powder then tiny amounts will half way detonate! be careful and use a good fuse otherwise you might loose some fingers or even your whole hand.. its powerful! try setting a 'bomb' with that stuff on a metal plate

but dude you have been warned.. so dont point your fingerless arms at me if shit happens (; test it alot with hammering with little force and also by friction.. about 2 strikers of that stuff, packed hard in aluminium foil placed on a thin metal plate.. well 10 centimeters wide hole.. the way i ignited that stuff was just letting a sparkler burn onto the ball of armstrongs mix.. just remember to use aluminium foil and make it really tight, and CAREFULLY!! test before use man, small tests

theyre loud, armstrongs mix makes a really sharp sound instead and a really concentrated shockwave easily capable of going through thin metal plates.. you clearly didnt mix it right, if AM doesnt deflagrate better than FP..

note: it's impact! you can take about 8 matches, crush em, take the stuff of the side of the matchbox, mix careful, put into alumnium foil, hit with a hammer, your ears will ring in 1.5 hours!i did with 10 matches once! never ever do with more than 10!

this mixture is called Armstrongs Mixture... if using pure chemicals (KClO3, Red Phosphorus) its a really unstable primary explosive you shouldnt make.. when you make it with matches, use twice as much matchpowder as striker powder, be accurate.. the more accurate, the more powerful (: put this into some al foil, pack it tight and put a sparkler on top and let it burn.... it will detonate if its made right, try testing some by burning it.. should make a pop.. be CAREFUL with it! really unstable

everything in like filling? dont try.. its very sensitive.. ... instead.. (: take a piece of aluminium foil, thats cut in a square.. then take some armstrongs mix into (not too small.. the same amount as 5 match heads powdered..) then make it really tight.. but be CAREFUL!! its called confining, means that the stuff in the container (aluminium foil) is tight.. it will detonate.. now take a sparkler and put onto the ball (you tightened from top to bottom to get a ball) and let it burn onto.. bang
