Cette chanson me donne des frissons chaque fois que je l'écoute. Une voix comme du velours, une musicalité si belle... Dommage qu'on n'ait pas les traductions (il y a les paroles dans certains albums, par contre). c'est magique, et j'ai adoré son concert. J'espère bien qu'il reviendra très vite en France ! Pensée à mon homme qui vient de "là-bas". Si seulement tous les gens de cette Terre pourraient vivre en paix... !

Nobody can deny the music is GREAT (with capital). I don't understand wolof but Ismail Lo mentioned Cheikh Ahmad Tijiane in some parts. So I come to a conclusion that the singer praises his idol (marabout) in his poignant song.

Frankly speaking the video doesn't fit the song. It only shows the life in Ismail's homeland. Probably, I will miss the place also someday. Thanks Saymi for ur posting.
