  • Sorry but this came up in the search with the phrase 'I can eat a peach for hours' from face off..so uh I couldn't help but think the opening title of this reminds me of some lame ass porno. Sorry guys. The shame and otherwise well this is very informative so thank you.

  • Should we remove the interior peach buds on the tree to allow the fruits nearer the exterior of the tree to grow? What is the sweetest, freestone white peach?

  • i'm going downstairs to get a peach now lol

  • I acknowledge the comment about Chilean fruit, below. However, the vast majority of Chilean fruit that I see in winter markets was not transported by air. Thus, from Chilean orchard to Chilean packing house, to ship on the sea, to Miami, to chain store distribution center, to local chain store, to American home could mean 2-3 weeks in reality. That was my point. No offense to my Chilean friends. This is quite different from the "local" peach that we are emphasizing.

  • The comment about Chilean peaches been picked 3 weeks prior to making them to the local stores is an overstatement. The true tree ripe fruits available at the stores in winter provides peaches, which have been picked at the optimal maturity stage possible, cooled and shipped by air within 72 hrs after harvest. Regular fruit shipped to the US from Chile by boat have a transit time of 10-12 days.

  • Kinda awkward and overly scientific phrasing, given the subject matter, but still a great video that makes me want to go out and sink my teeth in some peaches right away!

  • @classic14rider Ahahaha yea
