@iJandles No not unless its not really a bought home in a city (ex: a random shack in the woods can have items mysteriously dissapear when your not home)

I stash my stuff in the Dawnstar sanctuary, I practically live there! I keep poisons and potions by the poison nook, I put the weapons and armor in the training area, I keep books in the bookshelves, food in the initiates room, and soul gems and such in babette's room (the 200 year old child)

There's a perk in the speech section which allows you to do it, however I doubt he used it.

I robed every store in whiterun and then sold all their stuff back to them. If they couldn't afford it, it went into my homes chest.
