That's what I said, too. There are harder games, but this is one of the tougher ones. Touhou is more into spectacle over actual difficulty.

how did you get yours to run with 80+ fps? mine is always 60 fps T_T i cant get it to go higher..

In the custom.exe file, i set the frame rate to 1/3, and it allows it to go up to 90, i do that because it makes the game not lag when i record, otherwise it lags and it slows down a lot since my computer is crapland.

Yeah, lunatic is a completly different category in terms of difficulty.

The trick is to practice a lot, and spot what you have problems at, practiec those more, if you still have trouble, just bomb through it, you should never die with bombs in the bank, and you should always bomb before you get hit, since itll allow you to bomb twice as much.

hehe, practice makes perfect, just practice the stage over and over and youll get it ;p

another trick is also to play at a higher difficulty, even if you get utterly destroyed, after 10~ runs, youll find the difficulty you played at to be pretty easy

kaguya definitely is much harder than mokou on those difficulties. but lets not forget the ever teerorizing "fujiyama volcano." it always kills without the use of bombs.

kaguya is harder on lunatic... surely everyone agrees... although mokou's battle is very long so some say she's harder... and yes with that terrorizing fujiyama volcano spellcard, it decimates your lives and bombs. I just wish these two would face off sometime... eternal rivals killing off each other... sigh......

i'll have to agree... kaguya's attacks are harder to dodge but let's not rule out the fact that mokou's spellcards are not affected by any bombs... kaguya's "rainbow danmaku" is the only spellcard not affected by any bombs... but still kaguya's spellcards always forces us us to use bombs/last spells... T_T

i prefer just going alone with Reimu having to break through the barriers makes it more fun, btw you fail at the last spells, except for the first one theres no difference from easy and lunatic, i got 3 of them including the last one,

eh there is a difference, the gaps of the 2nd and 3rd one become smaller, the 2nd one becomes faster, the 4th one shoots red balls faster and the last one shoots a lot more of bullets ;p

Why is your frame rate around 90fps? Surely it should be closer to 60.

in the options you can make your game display 1 frame out of 3 and it makes your fps really high, but it lowers the lags tremendously when i take videos, my comp is shitty so i have no choice but to do this ;p

Heh, a suitably tense finish there on spell 171. That's gotta be my most hated spell in the game. It's one of the only final B spells I can't complete in game.

Yeah i was like "lol jesus" on that because it was so close.

and while watching this video myself i find that i did a lot of silyl mistakes that could be dodged, like spell 171, i couldve just stood in place until my bomb was over saving myself more time, but yeah, its a crazy spell, the replays ive seen everyone dodges them in hardcore ways when they reach one of both ends.. i cant iamgine doing this with marisa's team >.<
