Its funny. I never really listened to or cared much for this stuff when it came out. But l listen to it now 25 years later and really appreciate it.  I thinks its really moving and evocative stuff. It does take me away.

This tune transfered the bland monotomy, of the 319 bus from Scottsdale to New Westminister for my part time 4.55 an hour floor sweeping job. The sony walkman ritually killing 4 AA batteries on one bus round trip full volume to this album. Never knew how good I had it... been with me ever since..

What was it about this time that had so much great music going on?. It truly was a special time for new wave from Canada. We just bought this album again it has been playing constantly at a friends place they love it. Even if the Canadian bands were trying to emulate the European sound of the time there was still some fabulous, timeless music made. This stuff is classic.

a really great song. i'm not really sure of its chart history but i don't understand the reason why this wasn't a big hit. the music and instumentation is awesome with good lyrics too. when you think back at some of the crap that were hits back then (around '82-'83) it makes me laugh. also, great video. it really fits the song. to bad the full album version couldn't be used.

I never paid much attention to new wave during its heyday. But now that Iam older (wiser?) I listen to this and see what a beautiful composition this song is. Music should move you and this does. Very much. Wish it was the whole song and not just the intro/Extro.
