Nice video. The TNT 47s I would suspect were working or an ecs for Rail-Blue-Charters. its a shame that brick building/wall is in the way on your left. last time I went half the viewing platform was closed off.

Yes it's a busy spot, can be some time waiting for one to pass. Behind me out of shot is a electronic arrival departure board, so you always know when one is due.I've edited the video to cut out all the waiting.Hope one day you'l get chance to come & view from here. Kind regards.

Heh heh heh, actually it's quite a tight curve what you see here. I was reading a book recently about this station when it was back in the steam days. It was on about it could be quite a job to get some of the trains restarted, on departure.Cheers.

Still More Streamlined Steam and Early Diesels

above yt place shows a lot of great stuff in USA from 30s thru 40s and now we just have a few remaining. Perhaps UK investors will return to us? Chicago & North Western had a great Brit influence...it was the only road to travel on the same side as British railways :)
