  • wow, i did not the know the ac-130 was invented in the 50s ? 1:08

I thought the angel of death was invented in the 2000 decade.

  • No Concorde? Bogus list!

  • great stuff

  • like this vid best i seen yet no joke :)

  • Thanx bro for displaying the PIA B747 but the livery shown is the current one while u showed that in Sepia mode ie the 60s era :-)

  • Why is the F-22 in the 2000 section?

  • F-22 had first flight in 1997.

  • i like avro vulcan and su27

  • it was su-30, as i can see

  • I should agree with dLimboStick.

What happen to the Wright Flyer with the Wright Brothers? They were the first.

  • The 14-bis was the winner of a prize given by an european entity, taking off by it's own means, in front of a crowd. The Flyer was so superseekreetz that it was only announced after the 14-bis had flew. Like "hey, we flew 2 years ago" "can you prove?" "yeah, we have this photo, and this is not a catapult, mmkay?" "any witness?" "oh, yeah, this guy that works for us". USA's propaganda machine sent the 14-bis into oblivion for most of the world. There are replicas of the 14bis flying, google it ;)

  • Pretty huge oversight to omit the Wright Flyer at the beginning of the clip. That's like making a clip about the history of man on the moon and omitting Neil Armstrong.

  • Probably because they didn´t invent the airplane....

  • Citation needed.

  • Oh yeah, also the 14 BIS first flew in 1906, not 1900 as your clip says.

  • I believe he was using decades, not exact years. Seems you have already googled 14-bis, for that I won't make a speach about it ;)

  • @eroncoelho Not to mention that the moon landing was a hoax.

  • @rinbar70 wtf are you talking about

  • yeah and the concorde too

  • I would have liked to have seen Concorde, and the large Russian shuttle cargo plane. The music is cliché perhaps something from each time period?

    Good footage though.

  • Comment removed

  • this video is inspiring

    im an inventor

  • no offense, the footage was good, but I agree about the music. I dont know exactly how it became associated with aviation, but it seems inescapable. half the time you see anything about aeronautics, it is run to this track. It has become so ubiquitous that it is pretty annoying

  • " I dont know exactly how it became associated with aviation"

    Uhh.. Top Gun?

  • Hey man, nice vid, though I'm a bit tired of that music :P

Where'd you get all the footage? :)

  • SR-71 is just the most extrodinary of them all.

  • Civil planes rocks!

Whats that delta-wing aircraft in the '50's. Boeing should relaunch the 727 project, that plane is so awsome.

  • It's a British Vulcan - one of the three V bombers.

  • You forgot the Concorde!!! It is history!

  • Sorry! But how could you do that without 'CONCORDE' and the HARRIER!

  • 1:12 looks sooo cooll

  • #5 is a misresmit

  • it is a Messerschmitt and the bf109 6 is from Messerschmitt

  • great vid but wat about the avro arrow? b52? f15? p51? heinkel? me262?

  • man i used to be able to name all these aircraft... this is all i know/think

    1. NOT the wright flyer 2. sopwith camel 3,4. dunno 5. bf109 6. b-17, not b29 cuz that looks like europe 7. f4u corsair! 8. spitfire 9. avro vulcan 10. c-130 hercules 11. mig 23 12. A340? 13. not sure, dc-9? 14. not sure

    15. sr71 blackbird 16. B737? 17. B747!

    18.310? i suck at airliners 19. f177 20. a320?

    21. dunno 22. su 27? 23/24. dunno 25. f22 26. A380!

    i love this stuff

sry its so messy, stupid tube.

  • someon plz correct me where im wrong

  • 3 i think a dc3 and 4 is a PBY Catalina

  • bleh, i suck with airliners. thx tho

  • heh i don't know the airbus and boeing stuff, only the 747 and the a380

  • i know almost all teh fighters from teh big countries. i only know some of the basic things about airliners, but i also know never to fly in gay a410s cuz they r so fucking small and cramped. lol, 737's r quite roomy though. this is from experience, not assumption.

  • it's not the flyer, it's Santos Dumont 14-bis, considered to be the first airplane before the USA propaganda machine sent it to oblivion in most of the world. For it took of by it's own means (didn't need a catapult), in front of a crowd in Paris (not in secret behind a barn in kitty hawk), and got an international prize as being the first "heavier than air". Google it ;) Btw, there are replicas of if flying (with the same engine power).

  • fantastico video*****

  • ta bueno pero te falto el f 14 p

  • Bellissimo sto video!!!

  • Verry nice video, Only the concorde is missing

  • nice video dude

  • Missed two very important aircraft! The Comet, and Concorde! Geoff
