I gave my only water bottle in the car to a Christian homeless veteran on this very hot day..but I went home and had a drink from the fridge while he was in the hot sun..I am sorry.. may he find sustainable shelter very soon and his loving family.

It is beautiful to see one man try hard to wish for unity and peace. It is sad that some belief systems just cannot co-exist due to barbaric written laws/rules to follow. Understand this: Just as Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh, Muslims believe the Quran is the Word of "Allah" made book. They will never redact it. Not belief systems in general... Islam in particular nandhi. While Islam as a spirituality isn't the problem, Islam is first and foremost a political movement and only after the Islamic Caliphate is established can the Muslims seek that deeper spirituality and fight the "greater jihad" which is that of the spiritual. The only Muslims I have even seen speak truthfully about politics and Islam have all been militant jihadists.

Frankly, if I was Muslim, and I was required to carry an ID card, I'd do it because I understand law enforcment must do their job.
