Eastern Europeans are SLAVS excepts the Romanians(mixed)and Hungarians. Germans are different. They are mix of Anglo, Nordic, and Aryan.
Russians and Ukrainians based their language on Greek. The alphabet s Greek.
Romanian is based on Latin.

The only languages that have more heavily Latin influeced are the Romance languages such as.
Italian, Spanish, French, Romanian, and Portugese.

What do you mean they lost all their virtues ? All the virtues remained the same. That remamed empire is called Byzantium. Differnce between the Western Roman Empire and Byzantium the latter wpracticee Eastern Orthodox Christianity instead of Cathlocism and spoke Greek versus Latin. Also they lasted till the 1400's until they were invaded by Muslims.
