  • That lobster is probably dead now!

  • random black guy at the end :)

  • What happened to Lobsrerini...why hasn't he made a return?

  • Wow, Dave was so much more energetic back then.

Can't blame him though, he is like 63 now.

  • Why does everybody assume there's lobster palming going on? The second trick requires no sleight of hand at all, you can just have the lobster in the top part of the cage.

  • lol the black guy made me laugh

  • I know Teller is a master of Sleight of Hand, but I never thought he'd be bold enough to palm a friggin' lobster!

  • They should do this trick with a puppy next. Now that'd be interesting...

  • Best part of the video was the black guy at the end!!!

  • if u look hen hes holing it and its like folding in half theres a stick with a fake hand so it looks lik hes holding the blanket with 2 hands when ones fake and hes tkaing the thing off with the other hand

  • Hmmm... I bet they DID have a salt water tank handy...

  • Cruel.

  • The lobster is in the top of the cage, I am guessing. The lobster that appears over Dave's head is a second lobster.

  • Dave actually had some great lines with the duo. "The word trap does suggest high comfort."

  • i love penn and teller they are great

  • You can just see Teller crack up a bit after Penn says "we don't give a damn about the lobster"

  • Take THAT PeTA!!!

  • Cute, be the first one is easy. It's a trick napkin, with a glove glued on one corner.

  • Poor lobster. I want to hug it.

  • I want to drop it in a pot of boiling water seasoned with just a little bit of lemon.

  • wow letterman actually seems to be having fun. weird!

  • omg...Biff, lmao, hes still as funny now!

  • bwahahahahah "we don't give a shit about the lobster"

  • shit = damn?

  • apperently

  • how did they do that?

  • First one was easy to work out. got it first time. there is a rigid bar in cloth that teller gets out - notice it folds perfectly in the middle, when stretched out it hold the cloth rigid. teller's left hand glove is fake/attached to the cloth. he takes he hand out of the glove and takes the bands off the lobster with his now free hand. once they're off, replaces his hand in the left glove and folds the cloth away, which again, folds very unnaturally, like it has a hinged bar across the top.

  • The little one (I can never emember which is which...) is so freaking CUTE! He's like a Munchkin! And even though he's silent, he has the best expressions!

  • i Know!!!!!! if u go to ther message board u can see a pic of both of them when they were younger

  • Every picture of them is a picture of them when they were younger

  • lol

  • that is deep man

  • ok mitch hedberg ;-)

  • he is acutally normal height penn is just 6 oot 6

  • the little guy normal height is teller the big guy is penn

    heres a memory tip

    big penn

    little teller

:) happy to help and happy to give knowlege

  • teller is the guy who doesnt speak is how i remember lol

  • or the one that doesn't talk is Teller

  • Or another memory tip...

    Teller does not 'tell' anything.

  • The little one is Teller :p

  • So I guess the tablecloth has a fake hand on a stick?

  • no lobster traps don't look like that

  • watch 2:41 to 2:47 lol Lobsters......

  • LOL after the first escape, they played a riff from "Rock Lobster!"

  • lol

lobsterini looked dead in the end

  • ...he was resting.

  • LOL

  • he's pining fer the fjords!

  • OKI BIBUY!!!!!

  • We'd rather enjoy the trick than be crackpots about it. Sheesh.

  • Mmmm. That's a really interesting theory. I was thinking about it, but did you ever think of this one?

The lobster calls upon the power of ancient lobster gods, teleports out and then teleports the carrots into the trap just in time. I like your idea, but I think mine is more realistic, because to think that the lobster might have been taken out is just absurd.

    Dumbass.

  • All I'm asking for is a little bit of respect when you come home.

    Just a little bit.

  • If you're trying to expose all of penn and tellers tricks, they've already beat you to it. Nobody tells you how penn and teller tricks are done more than penn and teller themselves

  • That's why I love them and the Amazing Randi.

  • And the Amazing Johnathan.

  • Did they ever reveal their burning American flag trick I wonder?

    -R78

  • Theres videos of it on here. They do it a second time with the Chinese bill of rights (a blank clear plastic sheet)

  • Pretty cool....I never knew that a Chinese Bill of Rights ever existed in China.

    -R78

  • Hence why they brought out a clear plastic sheet with nothing written on it and presented it as the "chinese bill of rights"

  • Yes. Flag was in the pocket on the back of one of them.

  • WOW !!! that lobster is a genius !!! LOL =DDD

  • lol, In Case You Missed Melrose Place

  • Hey! I like lobsters! But I'm sure as hell no psycho Peta member or something, I just would never eat or kill a lobster just because I can (I don't like their taste.)

  • I'm allergic....

  • if you look carefully you can see teller take something out of the cage at 4:21, i wonder what it is?

  • i didnt see him remove anything- i think the chain is attatched to the floor of the box and raises the lobster into the concave roofspace when they hang the box. then they just lower a substitute lobster down at the end of the clip

  • He did something. Its no coincidence he made a move just as Penn was misdirection attention by explaining to the host what to do

  • well i looked at it again..at 4:21,as mentioned above..and you can clearly see tellers empty hands, both, the whole time..besides that, it seems to be alot more practical to have a trick box, rather than trying to use sleight of hand to remove the lobster (pt1)

  • it seems riskier since there were people watching from multiple angles...i stick by my theory. (pt2)

  • tahts a good trick or two

  • If you look, you see Teller only put on one glove. then he picks up the blanket which obviously has a fake hand with a glove attached to it. So It's Teller taking the rubber bands off.

  • Thank you Columbo.

  • hahahah

  • yep, nice observation, headmouse

  • man, Penn really let himself go

  • Naw, he just got old. He's 52 or 53 so I'd say he looks pretty damn good for his age. This was 15 years ago, kinda hard not to change in fifteen years.

  • holy flying snosages batman! letterman had hair

  • *laughs!*
