@AwesomeBeatles music has no age.. if it can reach a 1 year old it can reach a 70 year old human.. you just got to have the heart and an broadmind to listen to it...
It's like Ritchie has finally found his perfect woman. Candace is just awesome. They match each other perfectly. I don't think Ritchie will want to look at another woman for as long as they both shall live.
IMHO, Blackmore is one of the very few musicians from the sixties that has actually improved. Everytime I listen to Blackmore's Night I hear something that I did not hear before. The other day I was listening to 'Diamonds and Rust'. Man, he does some phenomenal stuff in that; beautful and very talented. I love that he is playing so many more instruments than just the guitar.

I play in two bands and the antenna in my van is not hooked up and never will be,in all my cars vans whatever.Because of the crap on the air nowasdays
I'm 14 and I love all there music. At my school I am in a band and when we aren't doing our own song we perform covers of their songs. They are amazing!!!
I'm 41, my oldest kid is 11, my youngest kid is 7. All of them already play the "Smoke" riff on a guitar (of course) and I still cry when I hear Catch the Rainbow, especially its On Stage version (gosh, Ritchie, Blackmore's Night playing Catch the Rainbow!! Hundreds of thousands around the world are still waiting for it!!!!). Screw age!
Blackmore's night is great band, if some of you cannot appreciate the fine musicianship going on with it then move away!
There's all kinds of musical genres, one doesn't have to like just one, it's like food tastes, open up your minds to other things and broaden your horizons.
True musicians can appreciate all kinds of music, given it is music in the first place.
And by definition, music has to have a melody line to it, if it doesnt it's just NOISE.
than he was in his Purple days. He's probably found what he was looking for. The fact that his music is - no matter what genre - beautifully crafted goes without saying.
Actually she was 18 yrs old working for a rock radio station in NY when she met Blackmore at a soccer game they were involved in. Last time I checked, 18's considered legal. It helps to check facts before making assumptions.

Wait, let me see if i got this right. Ritchie, who made all of his fortune off of albums bought by teenagers at the time, now has a problem with record companies marketing to them? He also implies that marketing to teenagers is some sort of new thing. Is he DRUNK AGAIN?????????
Record companies have been marketing to teenagers since The Beatles and Elvis for God sake.
And by the way Candice, maybe the younger crowd would be a little more interested in you if you hit the Gym from time to time .
Hey Joe... go sign up with these marketing guys...seems like you have the mouth for it! Just one question, what are you doing on all these BN sights? Blackmore is not the only guy who ever played rock so beat it and find your place lol.
Three words for the over 40 crowd who apparently cant find musical acts to listen to.... IRON FUCKING MAIDEN. Come on Ritchie, loose the bimbo and come running back to that Light in Black!!!!!!!!!!

Blackmore is absolutely correct. The airwaves are so filled with junk that it holds little interest for anyone with a mind.

Wasn't Candice a teenager when she started dating Him.
I guess it was ok for teenagers to be "marketed to" back then.

i love how these guys continue doing stuff, after all these years
as they've already said, all the bands get lost in the fame and glory and get screwed after a while,
but these guys, just know how to do stuff
Real musician in the real sense

Good point. The mainstream music scene only caters to a narrow market... That scene is dead IMO.
