IMHO, Blackmore is one of the very few musicians from the sixties that has actually improved. Everytime I listen to Blackmore's Night I hear something that I did not hear before. The other day I was listening to 'Diamonds and Rust'. Man, he does some phenomenal stuff in that; beautful and very talented. I love that he is playing so many more instruments than just the guitar.

I'm 41, my oldest kid is 11, my youngest kid is 7. All of them already play the "Smoke" riff on a guitar (of course) and I still cry when I hear Catch the Rainbow, especially its On Stage version (gosh, Ritchie, Blackmore's Night playing Catch the Rainbow!! Hundreds of thousands around the world are still waiting for it!!!!). Screw age!

Blackmore's night is great band, if some of you cannot appreciate the fine musicianship going on with it then move away!

There's all kinds of musical genres, one doesn't have to like just one, it's like food tastes, open up your minds to other things and broaden your horizons.

True musicians can appreciate all kinds of music, given it is music in the first place.

And by definition, music has to have a melody line to it, if it doesnt it's just NOISE.

Actually she was 18 yrs old working for a rock radio station in NY when she met Blackmore at a soccer game they were involved in. Last time I checked, 18's considered legal. It helps to check facts before making assumptions.
