why would the pleasure beach get rid of such a classic ride? and that was the last operating noahs ark ride in the uk as well, meaning there's now only ONE noahs ark ride left in the WHOLE WORLD :(
i loved this ride but im glad it has gone because it was very old and was dangerous. i went on it when i was like 3 and im 11 now but i went in 2009 (not knowing it was closed down) and i really wanted to go on it but my dad said it looked like it has closed down. i remember these rotating poles you had to manoeuvre around!
@mesmoland yeah, i mean it says on pb's website that it's close for refurbishments. If it does reopen, it better be one hell of a refurbishment for it to be shut so long
They diddnt close it there was a big fire and most of it got burned to the ground. My mum and dad told me because they used to love going on it. They still have the rocking boat above the entrance of the pleasure beach. And here's a wierd and horrible fact the laughing clown was also burned to the ground exept his head and that's the same head which it has on today. True story

The Pleasure Beach seem to have a lot of fires when they want something removing or refurbishing, probably to use insurance to cover the costs. I love the Pleasure Beach, but the owners are just scavengers. I think it's rubbish how you have to pay to get in now, even if you're just a grandparent looking after the kids, you must pay. Before it used to be free entry, but you pay for the rides.

@KARBOWICZ The song is just called "The Unicorn", and that version sounded like The Irish Rovers version: you can find it here on Youtube by typing in "Irish Rovers Unicorn"

That was a child hood favorite, I hope it re-opens. If it doesn't I will be so upset like some other people. So many hilarious memories on that ride<3
I really hope it does open again, this is one of my favourite attractions of the park. Although I would say, if it is being refurbished, I hope it isn't too modern, I liked it a lot as it is in the video

@kennywoodjoe Noah's Ark - This ride has been closed since November 2008. As of 2010, it does not look like the attraction will reopen as the stairs and entrance kiosk have been removed. It is currently standing, as a tribute to the attraction with no plans for reopening.
