all of you guys are stupid. read the fine print at the beginning of his show. it clearly states that bear is sometimes presented with situations to show you what to do. of course he doesnt fint and capture every animal. just like the boar he had to kill it was put there on purpose like many things are in his show. put there to show ppl what to do if they come across those kinds of situations in the wild. granted yes survivorman does it all alone but those are 2 different shows.

How did you handle it when you found out about Santa Claus & the Easter Bunny?
Not sure if this has been stated, but these are just recommendations, and alternate routes to survival. He doesn't exactly say you have to jump off a cliff and risk your own life because there is no other way out, he advises that you could but if your going to be sure it is safe, if not try finding another route, in most of his episodes he shows you how to do those risky maneuvers incase there is no other way around. And this has to be done in a certain amount of time

Not sure if this has been stated, but these are just recommendations, and alternate routes to survival. He doesn't exactly say you have to jump off a cliff and risk your own life because there is no other way out, he advises that you could but if your going to be sure it is safe, if not try finding another route, in most of his episodes he shows you how to do those risky maneuvers incase there is no other way around. And this has to be done in a certain amount of time

You exaggerate because you dislike him mainly because he rarely gets hurt in his shows, has a camera crew, and the obstacles he brings into the show are intensely life threatening. I actually have no problem with him faking most of these things. I mean, okay the guy in a bear suit was a bit much, but I don't blame him for not wanting to do some of the things he's implied to be doing.
I think the show just needs a new direction, rather than lie the viewers they should tell them that it's fake, explain WHY they felt it was unsafe to really do, and then explain how you might do it if it were real.
