The camera does the tick noises when I press the zoom buttons, but mostly it's my old DELL doing that noise, you can also hear the hard drive run.. Do you know what file you deleted? Does it gives you a warning or error message before shutting down? You could try getting the file you deleted from a same version of windows. If it fails, you can try the windows repair (by putting your install CD in, and selecting repair) or, if those fail, you'll need a reinstall or to live with it.. Most likely option #1 will work.

Nope. This was a VIRTUAL Disk.. Virtual machine. A virtual machine uses a Virtual Hard drive.. so like your hard drive is actually a file.. Just copy it, then you mess one up, you can just put it back, and everything's gonna be fine again. Lol.
