Very impressive breath-hold, but I'd imagine that were anything to go wrong she could take a breath at the surface. The lid of the tank is an inch or two above top of the the water (see at 3m00s), rather than there being bars or something below the surface.

no theres nothing in her hair. its her heart rate. her heart beats about 60 times a minute which means shes takes longer breaths and she can hold it longer cause her heart doesn't require as much oxygen.

So,,,the trick here is what? That she can hold her breath a long time? Women are better at it than men. The **ama** women clam divers of Japan train themselves to stay down nearly three minutes! Trick video makes it hard to clock but I measure 1'58" here, tops. Still pretty good.

No one does a full view uw escape. If you have ever tired to escape handcuffs uw (and I have) it is not easy. Without googles you cannot see & really have to feel your way around. If any of the cuffs give you a problem you can easily begin to panic which will rob you of air. This is quite an escape and is a 5 star video if I ever saw one. Can't wait to see her other escapes as Kevin says she has done one over 3:00 long.
