I have a question, my boyfriend is taking Testosterone for a while now, he had top surgery and stuff. but he's been moody and a friend told us it was because he hasnt got the hysterectomy and that the hormones are kinda struggling with each other, and Also that if he doesnt get that done it could be a risk for cancer. Is that real?
@SitarKnight - Not nessessarily... The penis usually comes out very small and I've heard that it just doesn't feel real enough because it won't get very big. With mtf I can absolutely understand with the whole body build and everything but with mtf you don't have to create something to hang off of you. I think it's pretty even on how... annoying it is... @anaco654 If you believe in God than you believe he doesn't make mistakes. That means he makes us the way they are, even gay and transgender people. Regardless of your beliefs, most mainstream Christians will not be supportive despite the fact that according to their religion only God is allowed to judge. Frankly most LGBT people break away from mainstream religion for this and many other reasons. Personally, I think its a load of BS in the first place.

@1212naked Testosterone use alone causes the clitoris to grow into a neo penis, and the clitoral bulbs to grow much more prominent, giving a suggestion of testicles. Surgery of many types can also be had to create both penis and testicles (implants). An FTM can not produce sperm. Though some intersexed (hermaphroditic) people can.

I'm so glad that I saw this. I'm 17 and have been questioning if I'm really trans for the past 3 or 4 years now. And this just really hit home for me. Now I know that I do want facial hair and more muscle definiton and that I want a flat chest. Btw I was glad to see in the pix of the top surgery that the scars do heal :) But the only thing that makes me feel like I'm not 100% sure if I'm trans is that I'm not a stereotypical guy and that I still have a feminine side. Is that normal or weird?
@LupinaLycan That's very normal. If you keep looking around, you'll find trans guys of all shapes and sizes, so to speak, here on youtube. There are feminine trans guys, gay trans guys, genderqueer people, genderfluid people.. There are super macho guys and guys who can't wait to be able to pass (after T) with long hair and eye-liner, but feel they can't express themselves that way now because then all people will see is "girl".

@PowerRedBull No one really knows. It happens to men (cis and ftm) at all different ages, in varying degrees, for various reasons. Generally its by genetic predisposition.
@jcac1023 Finasteride has so many nasty effects that its use for a purely cosmetic condition is not merited. We're talking permanent sexual dysfunction, male breast cancer, severe birth defects if handled by women. I'd just as soon go bald, thank you.

Your chromosomes do not change. But you can not always assume everyone is XX or XY... There are a LOT of people that have xxy and other combinations. There are a LOT of intersex conditions that have nothing to do with the appearance of your external genitals, so it is not always diagnosed until later in life (say when someone tries to get pregnant etc).
@realrock1012 It started filling in around 7 months, but wasn't a full beard until around 3 years. These things take time and are mostly based on genetic predisposition.
@aaronftm So So So true i wish more people realized that then they would know attraction is not always about the male / female sex but how we correspond to one another both mentally physically internally and externally. Attraction has nothing to do with assumed sex but how we respond to each others differences. Not all assumed men necessary are men vice versa not all assumed woman are necessarily women sex is to complicated to put it in a box with genes chromosomes etc etc.

it's incredible how quickly you started getting facial hair, a lot of the transguys i follow are around 7-8 months on T and still hav little to no facial hair

@Aaron: Wow bro, I am amazed. We humans are really limitless. If there wasn't hate doctrine cultures in Earth we would have been way more advanced as species.
No one should have their lives prescribed by the shape of their genitals. "Man" & "Woman" gender roles were made by sexist complained old people, whom then taught their offspring to hates those who did not comply. Such limited way of thinking must end.
Thankfully its happening & hopefully we all will be happy regardless of our outside.

I'm so glad that I saw this. I'm 17 and have been questioning if I'm really trans for the past 3 or 4 years now. And this just really hit home for me. Now I know that I do want facial hair and more muscle definiton and that I want a flat chest. Btw I was glad to see in the pix of the top surgery that the scars do heal :) But the only thing that makes me feel like I'm not 100% sure if I'm trans is that I'm not a stereotypical guy and that I still have a feminine side. Is that normal or weird?

@LupinaLycan That's very normal. If you keep looking around, you'll find trans guys of all shapes and sizes, so to speak, here on youtube. There are feminine trans guys, gay trans guys, genderqueer people, genderfluid people.. There are super macho guys and guys who can't wait to be able to pass (after T) with long hair and eye-liner, but feel they can't express themselves that way now because then all people will see is "girl".

Just curious..but how does the balding process go in FTM? Does it usually happen later to guys who were born in a guy's body to begin with (cause of later expose to testosteron and DHT) or sooner...or ?

@PowerRedBull No one really knows. It happens to men (cis and ftm) at all different ages, in varying degrees, for various reasons. Generally its by genetic predisposition.

@jcac1023 Finasteride has so many nasty effects that its use for a purely cosmetic condition is not merited. We're talking permanent sexual dysfunction, male breast cancer, severe birth defects if handled by women. I'd just as soon go bald, thank you.

If you mean HORMONES trans people take hormone replacement therapy...
Your chromosomes do not change. But you can not always assume everyone is XX or XY... There are a LOT of people that have xxy and other combinations. There are a LOT of intersex conditions that have nothing to do with the appearance of your external genitals, so it is not always diagnosed until later in life (say when someone tries to get pregnant etc).

@aaronftm So So So true i wish more people realized that then they would know attraction is not always about the male / female sex but how we correspond to one another both mentally physically internally and externally. Attraction has nothing to do with assumed sex but how we respond to each others differences. Not all assumed men necessary are men vice versa not all assumed woman are necessarily women sex is to complicated to put it in a box with genes chromosomes etc etc.

@Aleksei5055 In some cases yes, in some cases no... To date science has been more concerned with trying to "fix" intersex type "conditions" in order to "normalize" the patient. They still don't really know what causes any of this, and have been blatantly wrong about a great deal of things.

I used a chest binder. Most people prefer T-kingdom or Underworks these days. I am 4 yrs post chest surgery so it's been a while since i've really looked around at them or anything.

I keep watching ftm vids and realizing that I like the way a lot of guys look part-way through the transition. I can understand how hard it would be to maintain an intergender identity though, only because of the constant confusion it would cause, and how stressful it would be dealing with that bullshit on a daily basis.
