  • when there are zombies i know who to come to ;)

  • I wrapped my steel rods with electrical tape. Cheap and easy. Thanks for the idea.

  • LOL, Such a nice collection, very neat and tidy. I love this idea, If I ever need the room im doing this. BTW Gay music, but its better than "let the bodies hit the floor".

  • Sweet idea! However, I cringed at 4:07 - scraaaatch!

  • Nice job. I'll pay you $18 to make me one.

  • Great project, I went to Lowe's after seeing your vid. For the rods, they also have what is called Plasti Dip. People use it to dip their tool handles in to redo the plastic coating that come with them, I'm going to give it a shot.

  • Nice video.......one of the best I have seen on you tube. The rack turned out great !!!!! Thanks for the great idea. When shit hits the fan , I'am heading to your house ! Your packing some heat.

  • Thanks for the lesson !

  • great idea!!

  • Who are you... James Bond? O_o

  • Very neat idea, I love how the pistols are lined up about rifles/shotguns great Video!

  • @Ru553LL361 Thanks.........

  • I was looking for ways to make more room in my safe. This is the most cost effective way. Thank you for sharing.

  • Very cool and well made too. My only concern would be trying to remove the long guns without bumping the pistols. This is especially true in your case with the addition of ammo boxes at the bottom of the safe. None the less, still a great idea and much cheaper than purchasing a storage rack.

  • I just got mine done..Awsome..I work for a STEEL Co. so the only thing I had to buy was the heat shrink tubing & the Tips..It came out so well,I have friends that are doing the same.THX for the video dude..

  • @Rcasca1 Good deal. Iam glad the video helped.........

  • Awsome job.I will do the same..I almost baught pistol hangers, untill I seen this..

  • Great video

  • Sweet! I definitely will be attempting this one. Well made and clean-looking.

  • i wish i had a closet like this one.just one question whats your proffesion or how you manage to buy all these guns? plz reply

  • That is a sweet setup. How I wish I could own what you have.

  • nice work and nice collection. might have to build one for myself.

  • nice job

  • Heat shrink is sexy. I don't care who you are. Second best thing since duct tape.

  • you da man!

i'm gonna make one tomorrow during the football games.

    thanks for the great idea!

  • Nice mod but if I were you I would place those red tips below the heat shrink tubes to catch them.

  • Excellent! Very nice & easy to make. Never thought of that. Thanks. By the way, awesome collection.

  • Best How To Videos on You Tube

  • How far back from the front edge of shelf did you mount 2X2

  • WOW, nice collection. Great idea and simple too.

  • Great video and real nice work...an option I had never thought about with the pistols. The first thing I learned about safes is that whatever number of guns they say you can fit is BS. If all your guns were the same maybe! But if you have various types no way. Another thing I learned is...buy a safe bigger than you think you need, especially if you like to collect guns...because most likely you are going to continue to buy! Honestly though...great job on your safe, video was very good.

  • @pkato69 Thanks for the kind comment......

  • Hey, i was just wondering....if there were a zombie apocalypse....could i maybe come to your house....i'd bring a lot of snacks and coloring books to help past the time.

  • @teargas95 damn that's funny!!

  • I saw so many workshop safety violations,... O.S.H.A. has been contacted!!!

  • Nice project.

    Glock n Load,

    Mike

  • Hey where do you get the plastic tips

  • @TNGun Lowes..........

  • awesome job, is that a rod going down some of the rifles aswell?

  • @lfsabch yes, they are called rifle rods. you can get them on the net.

  • @FUBARPROTOCOL

lol literally just was watching the other video that explained them, lol thanks for reply, checking them out

  • Thanks for sharing! Love the collection. Been trying to figure out how to fit more pistols in my safe!

  • have to understand "fubar" to get why 1 man needs this much artilary and ammo hats off to ya for being prepared

  • I am so stealing this idea... Great Job!

  • Thanks for the idea, i ended up using fiber glass rod instead of metal but still a good idea.

  • very cool I subbed

  • U should make some more and sell them on e bay. I would buy one.

  • Nice project and gun collection. Real nice.

  • Thanks for posting this really good HOW TO video. I appreciate it.

  • Quite a collection you got there... Nice work on the rack too.

  • I like your taste of music. Ahh almost forgot, your guns are epic. Be safe and prepared.

  • Fubar you were not kidding. Your collection is one of the best i have ever seen! If you dont mind me asking, how many FireArms do you have stored in that one safe? Anyway great video. I am subscribing

  • @TafTabTah Thanks for the kind remark and the sub. To answer your question, I really don't know. I just can't seem to keep up with it.

  • awesome!!!

  • I cant wait to give this a try! Thanks for the great instructions.

  • That is an awesome design. Simple but very effective. Great Job!!!

  • Comment removed

  • if you put the tips on before you shrink the heatshrink and use marine heatshrink you wont have to worry about the glue. other than that very solid idea.

  • My first thoughts were: wish I had a skill in wood working to do things like this. And then I saw all of your guns! Very nice.

  • @redstoneguy1 Thank you for the comment !

  • nice rack! even nicer guns

  • @spockady Thank you for the comment !

  • well i think its safe to say your not in california !!!!!!!

  • @theresaguninmytruck Never been there and never will be. To many Left Wing Liberials trying to make you live your life like they think you should.

  • @FUBARPROTOCOL well if you dont mind what fine state are thee in

  • @theresaguninmytruck TEXAS ! And you?

  • very nice DIY project

  • @burntcoffeemedia Thanks Man

  • Just out of curiosity: why the hell do you have all those machines?!?! I mean, those are expensive for using like 5 times in your life...

  • @NC77583 Its called a collection!

  • @FUBARPROTOCOL ok........ so you collect those machines........ wow I didn't know there was somebody crazy enought to do that...

  • @NC77583 Did you miss the title of the video, or did you just stumble in here by accident? I like how you call them machines though!

  • @RollinTidez ??? No, I didn't miss the title of the video, which pretty much says that it's a homemade pistol storage/rack. So? What does that have to do with those machines? And why did you like that I called them machines? Aren't they?

  • @NC77583 Oops, I thought you were referring to the guns also. Guess you were talking about the actual machines. LOL

  • @RollinTidez .......yeah.......

  • @NC77583 I thought you were talking about my machine guns. You are talking about the tools in my shop. I use them all the time. I have my own business and they are used all the time. They are used for business and for hobbys.

  • @FUBARPROTOCOL Oh! Now I understand! I didn't know you had a shop, or that that was your shop! I agree that if your business have something to do with those, it's nice to have'em. Plus you can use them to make homemade silhouettes, or a "projectile stop" so you can shoot in your house/property.

  • Great work, sir! Homemade, inexpensive, attractive, space saving and practical... You can't ask for much more!

  • @TubeDeviant Thank you for the kind comment.

  • Looks like its time for another safe so you can buy more guns.Sweet job keep up the cheap geat ideas.

  • @infowick LOL! Thanks for the comment !

  • good work man- research has always beenteh leading edge of development

invention beeing the driving force behind science

  • @bernhardfranz Thanks for the comment !

  • @dgerps Thanks for the comment !

  • You need a Dremel to cut the rods, but nice idea on pistol rack, thanks for sharing.

  • @awdsvx I have one but it was easy to cut them off with the hacksaw. Thanks for the comment !

  • that is nice man keep up the good work.

  • @shartne Thanks for the comment !

  • @wa5dxp Thanks for the comment !

  • Nice work!

    Thanks for the idea.

  • @harley96cube Thanks for the comment !

  • Dude that's awesome work. It's to bad I don't have any of the tools to build a similar rack. I don't have a drill press, so if I went ahead with a hand drill I could possibly go in crooked and go to deep and go all the way through it. I Don't have a saw of any kid or a heat gun. Looks like this project is out for me. Well done again, take care.

  • @MustyYetisTacticalHQ It will not hurt to drill all the way through the board. Just take your time when drilling and try to get them as straight as possable. All you need is a cheep hack saw to cut your rods and a Bic lighter for the shrink tube. You do not have to radius the corners of the wood with a saw, you could just round them off with some sand paper. You can do this project my brother !

  • Very nice. That is a great way to store pistols and the wimpy ons wont fit LOL.. Thanks fore sharing.

  • @OBXSOLWIND Thanks for the comment Kevin. Keep your powder dry my brother.

  • Fubar....im insanely jealous of ur workshop.awesome vid

  • @719iceman Thanks for the kind comment !

  • you safes lookin outstanding, great set up. thanks for vid.

  • @steev5x5 Thanks for the comment !

  • i'd use JB Weld instead of superglue, but looks like and fun and easy project that cheap, very nice

  • @DaytonaRoadster Good idea! Thanks for the comment !

  • lol. You got a lot of guns. I got like one ar-15, pistol and a shotgun. Can hardly fit it in my small gunsafe. :-)

  • @pkbjorn35 Thanks for the comment !

  • Very cool. I have access to most all of that equipment, plus my step dad is sort of a carpenter so I think I may look into this. Thanks for the in depth video!

  • @350cutlassrocket Thanks for the comment !

  • Great job. Well made

  • @ahdoo123 Thanks for the comment !

  • @MrRuger00 Thanks for the comment !

  • Wow. I am just getting started with saving and buying what I need. It is comforting to know other people have such well stocked necessities.

  • @katiatomsk Thanks for the comment ! Work on your food and water storage first my friend. Keep it up.

  • That is really good idea. I was just wondering if the spacing between the guns is enough to get your hand in there. Thanks for sharing. Take Care :-))

  • @SurviveN2 This design works for me but you could spread out the rods more.

  • Sweet rack. Very precise construction.

  • @OneCreativeOrigin Thanks for the comment !

  • Looking good brother, looking good!

  • @usfreedom22 Thanks for the comment brother !

  • Nice! Another wet-dream in the middle of the day, thanks Mr. Fubar!

  • @FrontCortex Thanks for the comment !

  • Good job.. Easy project after you have your $40k woodworking shop set up ;-)

  • @lardonwheels You could do this project with a hand drill, couping saw, hack saw, and bic lighter.

  • can I have your safe? :)
