they didn't have the master acapella so they couldn't separate pac's verse from the dude who rapped before him... so they cut out the first word of pac's verse. lol. this shit is wack as hell.

i would say the original beat was ANGRY, rather reflective of Pac's cheecky nature around that time, but this new beat is somewhat more bubbly or friendly....
I would stick with the old beat but I welcome creativity...

I think they did too much on the beat.
The reason the original was so good was how simple the beat was. Also I love how Pac's verse comes 2nd on the original, right after Daz

I agree... the new beat is confusing, I can't even tell where it's going. it might be a good beat on its own but it doesn't go with the mood of the track to me.
