  • i really want to train in jui-jitsu but i have a thing about other guys touching my junk even in sports

  • when he tries to roll out i just roll with him until were both on our stomachs and the ankle lock is even tighter.. this is still a pretty sweet move though

  • 0:53 hahhahahaha

  • UFC 111 Rousimar Palhares held one of these for a little too long and the guy was screaming in agony for minutes. If you don't know what your doing with the heel hook, don't do them during sparring. The heel hook twists the knee destroying it with not a lot of force. Also the person being heel hooked often does not feel the pain until its too late.

  • i dont mean to be immature... but doesnt grappling in mma look gay?....

  • it does but wen ur doing it u dont think of it that way

  • @SuperHassasin sometimes we get to practice with girls...

what? just sayin! im not a perv, i just enjoy that kind of game.

  • @SuperHassasin well if your perception of gay is Trying to break another mans arms/legs then yes.

  • never tap the floor the the person to let him know its a better and smarter way

  • Hahaha

  • wait i made a mistake when people think submissions are not used on mma

  • this goes to all u people that submissions dont get used on mma inside the ring, 1 because they are sometimes are thinking of a really fast takedown, and 2 because they are not well concentrating on submissions only on hanmakers and other boxing move. Because mma is mixed with jiu-jitsu,karate,boxing,kickboxing,wrestling and other stratagic on a supervised match and of course no self dicipline rigins.

  • dude there are def submissions in what you call "real fights"

  • first 10 sec sux like hell xD just waatch few videos with this guy and you know what i mean

  • look up Roy harris and learn from him it will be clear then

  • ok fiest off quit tapping like a baby, second stick to judo, seems you know more about that then mma, which isnt saying much

  • you'd probaly tap like a little bitch if he did it to you so yeah

  • honestly i wouldnt get caught in that blatent of a move, and i would roll over on my belly for one

  • you'd be in so much pain you wont be able to, my point is that you'd tap out too dip

  • ok idiot, i'll explain this to you real slow, if you dont get in the lock cause YOU SEE IT COMMING FROM A MILE AWAY! you wont be in any pain and roll into him and not drop on you belly and give the punk your back, wow think first

  • kai yeah but he let him get him into that position and if you let some one do that position to you you'd tap..that my point get it.... and you dont know me so dont call me an idiot....

  • i dont have to know to know that, that's what you sound like right now, and what im saying is that would never happen in a real fight, and even if it did you dont roll over and give your back to the guy, have you ever been in a fight, if so have you won or just gave him you back and proceded to get the crap beat out of you, go take some form of martial arts or boxing or even like a womens self defence class, then come back and argue when you know something

  • ok i know that but my point is that you'd tap too like Fuck how dont you get that, why would you say "ok fiest off quit tapping like a baby, second stick to judo, seems you know more about that then mma, which isnt saying much"

  • wow are you an idiot, the guy obviously know more about judo, THEN HE SHOULD TEACH JUDO, not some half crap video about a very poorly done heel hook, do you know to fight at all or just want to sound all tough typeing from your mommys computer, do you self a favor and shutup, you sound smarter that way

  • ok wow i dont live with my mom so stfu you dont knnow me, and thats not how people are where i live so yeah.... its called punching in the face..

  • apparnetly you've takeing one to many punches to the face, old saying: it is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool then open it and leave no doubt

  • no i haven't and in real fight there no submissions...

  • why not, maybe because most people in real fights are not trained and wouldn't have a clue how to do submissions, they just slap away

  • u cant say sum1's trying to sound tough when all they did is point out the fact that in that position u would probably tap dont talk shit dude kno one likes that

  • keep in mind that there's always an escape... even if you gave them your back.

  • idiot

  • ohyeah for ever!

  • and he turns *tap tap* my ankle

  • no pain in a heel hook until your knee explodes

  • if you want to learn how to grapple just train with the gracies Im not a big fan of theres but they are good when it come to the ground game

  • Really enthusiastic about tapping. That guy tapped like a toddler when he didnt get something he wanted.

  • it's a dangerous move dude... hahaha i prefer to do straight foot locks if i can cos i am afraid i might overdo the hook and injure my opponent, esp those "macho" types that don't want to tap out until something snaps... and the thing with foot subs is that sometimes they dun hurt until the joint is just about to snap...

  • I know I just though it was funny how hard he hit the ground.

  • I've seen a guy win by heel hook but it really isn't a great move. I saw Kenny Florian demonstrate a much better move that attackes the calf muscle. Leaning back is better than twisting because your opponent will roll out of it if you twist.

  • it is illegal in alot of grappling events

  • Yes is it because if the HH is executed properly, it can tear the knee, shin and achilles tendon with ease. That's some nasty damage.

  • Only in gi tournaments! All no gi allow it.

  • Only in Gi divisions, via BJJ rules. No Gi allow them.

  • There are leg locks in judo.

  • INIT! there is leg locks in judo

  • ok he didnt know

  • The straight ankle lock is an official move of the Kodokan. It's just not allowed in tournaments due to the injury factor. Thank you for letting people know brother!
