His songwriting is, in my opinion, beyond compare although Ryan Adams comes pretty close. So to read a review by some clown by the name of Chris Roberts from the BBC (see Amazon) left me gasping for breath and wanting to punch his lights out.
Just magical. I saw a BBC4 programme with Justin, Boo Hewerdine and Chris Difford. Chris was in tears on stage hearing Justin sing this. This man writes what so many of us can only feel - truly gifted. I'm glad we have this music for the good times and the bad :0)
This man can make infidelity, insecurity and fear of commitment sound romantic. Currie is a genius in my eyes. Unfortunately, living in Denmark doesn't really make it easier to follow his musical endeavours...

Annie - Superb, loved him when he led the Dels but I have to say that this whole album really does it for me. I have it playing on a loop in my car. Currie at his brillliant best.
long time hero of mine. Solo album a bit moody, but this is the stand out track. I visit seatle on occasion and gutted i missed him. I'm proud he's a fellow Glaswegian. what a talent.
Sublime lyrics and, as ever, incredible vocals. I can't believe these songs are not more popular - but then again the charts are full of dross so these songs are better left in the quality section.
It;s hard to believe that some country artist hasn't recorded this song and had a huge hit with it. Justin has a version with Steel Guitar in it, and it works perfectly.
"but i had to try, and in the end there's such thing as wasted time"... "i was the interim between nothingness and him, so how is that a crime?"... great lines
Oh my goodness, how can ANYONE dislike this!??? Words fail me at how amazing this song is
