If I was still living/Surviving (because it is a very tough life to live) @ the D.I., I would no doubt have been a part of this vid for sure. I like how they covered up the smoking deck doors and brought in furniture... I saw some familiar faces.

I was just waiting to see myself. When I first moved to Calgary i knew nothing of the D.I. I wound up staying for six months or more and although being super homeless it was one of the most hardest/neatest, in some weird way! time of my life.....

An amazing collaboraton of talented individuals. I've seen the TV commercial a few times, however the video is fantastic. As a Calgarian, I'm truly blessed to have warmth and shelter. Let's put an end to homelessness!!

The D.I has always had some quality talent playing in and around the building, some nights I have seen in the past numerous Jam sessions on the main floor that has sent chills through me. A great tribute to a few of the people there, but keep going there is so much untapped talent there and if I were allowed to I would have taped the sessions before leaving Alberta.

It speaks volumes for the homeless community who are often targeted for being inepts, uneducated and without any hopes. This video shows that even in darkness the light still shines.

As an employee of a homeless facility in Stamford, CT, I am very proud of their effort.
