It's not your imagination :) Also, if you read OOTP, you'll notice this is when Snape starts to speak more calmly and with more sarcasm; in other words, this is when JKR started writing Snape as though she wanted Alan Rickman to say them.

comment part one: This was beyond fantastic! I've never seen such a fanvid before (and I've been around the block vid-wise). Your use of graphic (photoshop like) techniques, slices, and cuts were brilliantly executed. My favorite part comes with Severus'es lumos with Hermione behind him and Remus walking into the scene (1:45). That, right there, is amazing and I can say without a doubt that you are a skilled manipulator and experienced vidder.
