I love the color on her. I think the ombré thing looks better on girls with light/medium brown to red and dark blonde hair. I've seen it on black to dark brown hair and it looks too unkept. As if the person hasn't touched up their hair color for months. Not pretty .
@spicyasian83 - it really depends what your current hair color is like. If youre happy with everything and just want the ends lighter, its a full highlight which is $180. If you'd like to have the lighter ends with a darker base than the current one you have add $70. Thats a rough estimate. But I give complimentary consultations if youd like to stop by the salon for an exact quote! :)
@LiveOrDieHunny - it wasnt meant to show you my exact technique, just trying to show people/clients that this is the trend and im able to do it and where im located to get it done. :)
@broookexolyn - you can just ask for highlights only on the bottom. But the best thing to do would be bring in your fav ombre picture so you and the stylist are on the same page, no question! and as for the styling in the video, i just used a regular 1 1/4" curling iron. It has a clamp but I just wrapped the hair around like it was a rod. then brushed it out!
@sarahewhite85- we did lighten (bleach) the ends, and a toner was used to create that seamless golden but not brassy effect!
@universeGirl -I did the girl next to me in the video also! glad you like it! for the brown color we deepen her base with a neutral level 5 brown, 10 volume developer. she already had the mid shade of blonde. so i darkened the base and used bleach lightener on the ends. 30 volume works fast but I recommend if youre doing it at home to check often for less damage & as soon as its the lightness you want rinse immediately. If you need to make the mid color also it would be a golden level 7 or 8. :)
Hello, I have the same light brown hair base as the blond girl next to you. I would like to ask you what shades and developers u use to her hair to fade from that brown to mid color blond. As I see she has platin highlights somewhere but the rest of her hair color is mid shade of blonde. Do u first bleach it with some platine products and then tone it into that color? If yes could you please tell me what level of developer and shade is used for the mid color...many thanx from europe.
the hair styleist totally looks like lindsay lohan .12
