"Long time No Love". I'm fairly sure was recorded in Nashville with Floyd Cramer doing the piano work, Chet Atkins on guitar and the Jordainnaires in the background. He has the Nashville sessions as well as the Clovis sessions where Tommy Allsup played guitar and Vi Petty on piano.

These two were also recorded during a rehearsal at my mother's living room in Odessa. They were NOT recorded in Clovis. The band is the Poor Boys. We'd never heard of the Fireballs in 1955 or Norman Petty. The guitar work is Eddie Williams who had been a steel guitarist before the advent of Rock 'n' Roll. I traded in his triple neck Gibson steel for an electric guitar and he had to learn quickly. He did.
Recorded in Norman Petty Studios, Clovis,N.M., May 16, 1960 - Imperial Records #X5667 - Unknown if he was backed by the Poor Boys on this number or if Petty used members of his own house band (The Fireballs). Although the lead guitar on this is pretty good, I don't believe Its George Tomsco of The Fireballs. Style is slightly different.
