got some questions about this game:

1. do I have ANY handicaps wit a free account, even until lvl 4?

2. how far can I come in this game, without buying points?

a friend of mine told me, they will force you soon to buy points to get better, cuz the starter cards are lame....

I loved the game, but the fact that my friend sayd BF "forces" you to donate to get better scared me a little bit....

1. until you reach level 4 on play4free u can not sell ur cards, buy stuff of auctions or trade.

2. u can play the campaign with a starter deck and still beat it but if u buy some cards it makes it a lot more exciting and fun. u can gain points by playing 30 minutes a day or by refering people to the game.

i have only played this game for a few days and only spent £3 for 300points and i bought 50 random 1 card boosters and one lost souls booster pack (8) and am enjoying it a lot.

@Blothmath 1. No, it is very easy to create a good deck without buying cards for the PvE or Campaign so you can become lvl 4 easy, you get a Daily reward for 15minutes ingame, 1 BFP.

2. Quite far, but you will be attracted to PvP, but if u don't wanna pay for cards, keep playing for daily rewards.

You're not "forced" but just attracted, kinda smart of EA :D

But belive me, it is worth paying :D

Oh ya and People in the game have stated that up to 1000 gold is equivalent to 1 point but i have had some go as low as 600 =]

The free version is nearly the same as the paid, here are the differences. With the paid you start off with 64 starter cards 3000 battleforge points and able to trade and and make many profiles. With the free you can trade with cold you start off with 32 starter cards and can not trade or mail and auction until you are level 4 in pve and 10 in pvp(Which gets you gold and better at the game) and can only make one profile, you can still buy points though, hoped this help, it did me.

Actually no, u don't, u can trade for battleforge points from a free account. U can sell some of the f2p cards, and u can also trade gold for points. Then it's just a matter of buying at a low price, and selling at a higher price in the auction hall.

You guys are idiots..Do all your research before reviewing a game...to Correct them. You CANNOT buy cards in game, UNLESS you want to spend hours farming gold, which you then sell the gold to people for in game currency. When you unlock the full game, this doesnt mean you gain access to cards and such. You cannot win cards in this game, you can ONLY upgrade your starter cards. Cards are obtained by spending irl money and buying boosters. OR trading gold for BF currency and buying fromt he AH.

Bram replying here. I wrote like 80% of the script and I stand by everything Aidan says. Though I do admit after re-reading the script, the part about the trading cards is explained quite vaguely. The reason: We try to persue people into playing or not playing a game, we're not telling people that allready play the game how it works.
