@gurtznak Reading any codex you will always read that this special faction is super duper great and the others suck. That´s because they are trying to make you buy more of these particular miniatures.
This film is awesome. Even though you made the Dreadnough run like an Orc on speed. Over powered the weapons and made the Howling Banshees stop up and shoot back when they where shot at, as they would not. Still this vid is awesome. 9/10 from me

Bolts are .75 Caliber, Heavy Bolters are 1.00 Caliber plus Bolts are explosive, so one shot = dead on all but the hardiest of foes(Obliderators/Greater Daemons/Avatars/Huge Bio constriucts come to mind) and I also mentioned these Bolts "belong" to The Emperor so using it you better have a good reason, a Terminator wasted too much Assault Cannon ammo and got solitary confinement for a week or something.
Whereas, if a guardsmen wasted to much Ammo(heavy Bolter/Autogun, a archaic bullet based weapon(Lasgun ammo recharges with heat) no one cares, but if the Guardsmen threw away his weapon, even to save his life, he'd be shot, Unless the Gun jammed and he couldn't unjam it or it overheated, but throwing it away is suicide, tis why Jurgen has that:"I'd rather lose my left arm over my Lasgun anyday" attitude like most Guardsmen, however Cain isn't an asshole like most Commissars, lol.

@GeneralSturnn Actually killing lasers could be possible with sufficient miniaturization technology. Warp travel isn't faster than light, but moving into another dimension. That is possible via folding. Power armor is already in development, or at least exoskeletons. Plasma technology is already at an advanced level, even if it isn't enough for weaponization. I don't deny that the weapons are fantastical in their interpretation, but the ideas aren't completely insane, given the time period.
Of course, given time, anything can happen, but he said he's using common sense, We said lasers can kill, but you need it to be massive thus far to produce enough heat to kill, since it's only light, I know power armor is in development(they tried it once, but it was to heavy for normal men to wear) care to explain sources on Plasma? or even pointing to it nowadays? from what I hear it is VERY unstable and explosive, but I could be wrong.

1) Space Marine bullets explode on impact. 1 Shot = dead :P
2) Eldar bullets are like razorsharp discs, Marine armour holds them but firing on weak spots ore the same spot the hole time brings a painfull death. Anyway no headshots :P
3) I think with superhuman senses the biker marine should have seen the giant walker coming.
4) The Eldar thing blowing the dreadnoughts left arm off was just...... a pistol against the Empire state building...
The Wraithlord carries a starcannon - a heavy plasmacannon that could destroy a dreadnoughts assaultcannon by with ease. A dreadnoght would be dead if the spacemarine is lancenated by a phatnomblade, but a waithlord wouldn't collapse by a tackle or one explosion - and wraithlords fight with 100% effectivity till they total collapse.
If Hollywood were to produce this into a live-action film, They better get a Director like Peter jackson or Neil Blomkampf (district 9) and use one of the original scripts, Use good non-bullshit actors And if they fuck it up, Even the slightest bit. I will borrow a $100,000 Loan from the bank, Buy a Flame-thrower, plenty of napalm and BURN THE SHIT OUT OF EVERY GOD DAMN FACILITY THAT HAS HOLLYWOOD IMPRINTED ON IT

Last time the Ultramarines lost was that incident on Damnos, but they were forced to retreat under heavy Gauss barrages, and seeing how Necron weaponry is so powerful and Necrons are for the most part DEAD accurate(pun intended) lol, their Gauss Weaponry can easily penetrate even Terminator armor, the Ultramarines HAD to retreat or risk losing all of Second Company.
Eldar Weaponry, though advanced, is no where near powerful enough to penetrate Power Armour easily, true it can penetrate power armor, but so can a Lasgun(if either are given enough time, they will cut through power armor)
So if i try a combo of 4 Dreadnaughts and 4 hellfire dreadnaughts with 1 predator tank and a rhino transport with a Spacemarine Squad with rockets and a Seargent plus a Commander is it a gaurenteed win???

@GeneralSturnn Actually killing lasers could be possible with sufficient miniaturization technology. Warp travel isn't faster than light, but moving into another dimension. That is possible via folding. Power armor is already in development, or at least exoskeletons. Plasma technology is already at an advanced level, even if it isn't enough for weaponization. I don't deny that the weapons are fantastical in their interpretation, but the ideas aren't completely insane, given the time period.

Of course, given time, anything can happen, but he said he's using common sense, We said lasers can kill, but you need it to be massive thus far to produce enough heat to kill, since it's only light, I know power armor is in development(they tried it once, but it was to heavy for normal men to wear) care to explain sources on Plasma? or even pointing to it nowadays? from what I hear it is VERY unstable and explosive, but I could be wrong.

Amazing animation, great video how ever i must make one slight comment.. the space marine that was killed because he was not paying attention is a bit unrealistic because i doubt a space marine would be distracted like that and why the did the holwing banshies shoot the marines, they fight in close combat. Very bad tactics :-P

1) Space Marine bullets explode on impact. 1 Shot = dead :P
2) Eldar bullets are like razorsharp discs, Marine armour holds them but firing on weak spots ore the same spot the hole time brings a painfull death. Anyway no headshots :P
3) I think with superhuman senses the biker marine should have seen the giant walker coming.
4) The Eldar thing blowing the dreadnoughts left arm off was just...... a pistol against the Empire state building...

The Wraithlord carries a starcannon - a heavy plasmacannon that could destroy a dreadnoughts assaultcannon by with ease. A dreadnoght would be dead if the spacemarine is lancenated by a phatnomblade, but a waithlord wouldn't collapse by a tackle or one explosion - and wraithlords fight with 100% effectivity till they total collapse.

Guillermo Del Toro (Pans Labyrinth, Hellboy 2) and/or James Cameron (Aliens/Avatar), and/or Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch!)
They would work for me to, especually Guillermo Del Toro or Peter Jackson, he has nice touch for goth/fantasy/science.
But the best one would be any of these, that actually played and loved WH40K at some time in their life :)

XD you fail harder than shit, a dreadnought is a half dead space marine that is just barely alive due to the sarcophagus that he is entombed in. He is lucky to have an arm inside that thing. Most of them dont have arms or legs anymore. But a regular spacemarine is a human with bioenhancements such as 13 or so extry organs ;-)

They have their reason to say no though...because most the time movie director gonna put a love story in it(which we as fan know THERE IS NONE in WH40K), put some pussy ass looking actors to role as space marine, and WILL COMPLETELY change everything you know as concrete plot line of Warhammer 40k. So GW better off saying no rather then risk making an epic 30 years saga title to some dumb ass director.
I will give my full support only if one of the wh40k novel writer decide to be a director.

Who told you this crap? GW never said No because of that! Two Movies have been made one a german flim, The Other, a BRITSH CIG film. The first (the german one) Was a 3 hour long Si-Fi horror film. Would have been Epic! But...
GW turned it Down Because the guys that made it didnt have any money left to pay the Copyright on it! The other GW said YES! But... It was Consited to volent and coudnt be rated.

I'm saying that most the time video game base movie made by Hollywood SUCK, perfect example would be DOOM...just don't understand why dont they stay true with the story. Lots of directors have been asking 2K to make a Bioshock movie, but they all got turn down because their plot lines suck!

I can see it now, some LA ken doll with a pretty face and the personalty of a house plant pulling dramatic poses in power armour trying to look hard, A sister of battle turned into a busty blond damzel in distress so the big strong hero could save her and set the stage for the generic love scene.

Dude I grew up with Dragonball, it was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid, I remember about a year ago, I was watching somthing on veoh when I saw a trailer for a Dragonball live action movie and I thought "cool" untill I clicked on it to watch. "MOTHER FUCKTARDING SHIT" I got about half way through it before I had to run for the toilet and puke my guts up!!! I will never fucking ever watch that pile of dog shit they called Dragonball.

You see they can't just make a movie with what made the game/book/series so good to begin with, oh no, that wouldn't give the "director" any freedom to express his/herself. So they try to make the story into something different and just ruin or ignore the base material. That and we have to toss a love story in there somewhere. By the time they're finished, you just feel better saying "yeah I was into that game when it was still nitch, now it's just mainstream and sucky".

They didnt say no. these German guys made a Movie where going to pay Copyright to GW but ran out of Money. GW loved there movie but Can't release it because of this. Although you can Download the film. But not only is it legal to do so, It's in German.
there was Anther CGI movie that was made Finshed and every thing BUT... it was consited to Volent and couldnt be Rated

Last time the Ultramarines lost was that incident on Damnos, but they were forced to retreat under heavy Gauss barrages, and seeing how Necron weaponry is so powerful and Necrons are for the most part DEAD accurate(pun intended) lol, their Gauss Weaponry can easily penetrate even Terminator armor, the Ultramarines HAD to retreat or risk losing all of Second Company.

Eldar Weaponry, though advanced, is no where near powerful enough to penetrate Power Armour easily, true it can penetrate power armor, but so can a Lasgun(if either are given enough time, they will cut through power armor)
